If she's old enough to understand I would show her what can happen to a person. I show my son the dangers of not wearing his seat belt, not watching for cars, and taking drugs. The internet can be really helpful when it comes to seeing the truth and showing your kids what can really happen.

Haha... I use to love the smell of gasoline when I was little too. Relate to the smell of gasoline to something horrifying. Like if you smell too much gasoline you will forget everybody in the world. Whenever I go to the gas station, I just try to hold my breath. If she doesn't stop, stick a piece of tissue up her nose.

My 3 childrens are nevertheless youthful, age 6 , 4 and a pair of yet i began talking to them about strangers from the a lengthy time period of three. merely clarify that they have got a community of relatives and freinds and college and outdoors of that we've those who we dont recognize and they are strangers. clarify that some human beings arnt very fantastic and its major thateven in the adventure that they offer candies, or might want to opt to instruct the newborn an animal operating example, they don't look to be telling the reality and commonly they prefer to harm children. i got here across that the more effective cases you tell them from the youngest age a possibility, the more effective efficient effect it would want to have in making our chidren understand the hazards. My children have had no adverse effect from telling them this and now my 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous knows the hazards more effective. From around the a lengthy time period 4, 5, and six plus at their college also they're given talks about strangers and negative aspects so in case you arnt constructive of the info such as your college then it may be properly worth discussing this such as your newborn's instructor. wish this helps.

You can't be serious - why don't you try to keep the gasoline away from the 5 year old?
I don't think she's driving around smelling it at the pumps as she refuels.

The smell of gasoline is not bad. Sniffing it from a container or bag is. As long as your kid is only enjoying the scent there is no real danger.

keep gasoline locked up till she is old enough to understand. If possible introduce her to some at mental health facilities who did not learn this lesson in time.

Teach her by example. Once she sees what happened to you, she won't do it again.
