Perhaps they would think R's are always supposed to be written backwards?

maybe it's for the "dyslexic" that is hiding deep inside all of us, just waiting to burst forth and go to every "toys 'r' us" and climb on top of each store and change the "R" around when no one is looking.

and while on the topic of bad grammar, why dont we suggest they even change the name to "we have toys"

Or even writing R instead of "are".

Perhaps you should visit every school and teach the teachers who themselves don't know their grammar from their grandma or how to spell correctly.

In my job I see hundreds of CVs and the standard of spelling and grammar from the under 35s is appalling so worrying about one "R" is too late.

By the way, a backwards "R" is not a grammatical error so I assume your questions was meant to be funny.

In Russia they use a backwards 'r'. But it is bad grammar this neck of the woods isn't it.

It's an Americanism, isn't it, and probably accounts for why there is so much rubbish on 98% of Yahoo

I think it's a case of talking to your children. If you explain things to them, they will understand. Then they can tell the friends and all will be well

that's marketing. be catchy to sell your products. just like seeing TMNT as unreal as well as Denver the last dinosaur.
