1. This is simply not true. Haven't you ever heard of Terry Anderson, Thomas Sutherland and the other Westerners who were held hostage by Hezbollah for years?
2. Terry Anderson, Thomas Sutherland and the other hostages did not invade Lebanon. In fact they and the others were quite sympathetic to the Arab cause (hence they moved to Beirut and taught etc.) until they were kidnapped and chained to a wall for few years for the crime of living in Beirut.
3. Hitler used to be very popular with the German people, so what?
4. Just because they have a political role doesn't mean they are not terrorists. The IRA had Sinn Fein as it's political/social arm, that doesn't mean the provos weren't terrorists. But perhaps like the IRA, Hezbollah can make the transition to being a purely political group and let the Lebanese National Army do their job.
5. According to whom?

Hizbollah are not a terrorist group despite what Bush, Blair and the Media claims.
Hizbollah is a social institution with a military arm that helps protect Lebanon from Israel. For your info, the U.S is the only country that has Hizbollah on its terrorist orginizations list and this is of course due to the power of the jewish lobby in the U.S. The european union does not consider it a terrorist organizations and none of the Asian countries as well.
Hizbollah is at war with israel and they abducted those 2 Israeli SOLIDERS! and i am stressing on soldiers not civilians because 2 days earlier Israelis kidnapped 2 Lebanese civilians from Souther Lebanon and of course the media never told this story.

If Hizbollah is to be classed as being ‘terrorists’… then let Israel stand under the same banner!
The disproportionate force used by Israel in response to the kidnapping of two soldiers (a crime Israel itself has been guilty of in the past) was totally unacceptable, and with the high number of civilians being killed, has earned Israel the right to be classed as ‘terrorists’ in the eyes of many of the international community!

I dont think Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation at all.
CNN did and amazing short documentary on Hezbollah last week, showing exactly what they do--health, fund hospitals, education, feed and clothe Lebanese, support their own army to protect Lebanon from Israel, rebuilt Lebanon cities the last time it was blown to bits--it was direct, unbiased reporting and everyone in the world should have seen it. a real eye opener vs the USA, Israel propaganda.
I for one am totally disgusted with Israel.
they started a war again with lebanon, this time because 2 soldiers were taken...from exactly "where" no one's been told. israel have been occupying palestinian lands since 1948 after WWII, they cannot get along with anyone, invade anyone they like on their borders, and the BS rhetoric by their US ambassador to the UN is mind boggling! he said all they wanted to do was hit HEzbollah targeted strongholds. more BS. israel BLEW UP the UN building in Lebanon, they were warned 12 TIMES not to, and they did it anyway. if that in itself is not a terrorist act, then i dont know what is: targeting the UN!?!?!?!?!?
Israel used these two taken soldiers as an excuse to do what they do best: blow up women and children, start wars, demolish cities, wreak havoc, ad nauseam.

They were for a long time the only effective government is the previously occupied territories of south Lebanon and the only source of law and order for the Lebonese during the Israeli occupation. Terrorists, I think not! They also fought back with bravery and courage during this recent incursion.

It seems to depend on where you live. If you are American or Israeli you call them terrorists. If you are Muslim or a sympathizer you call them freedom fighters.
Terrorist organizations are ones that go out and use terror to influence a political goal. Most countries do this but logically we do not call all countries terrorists. Both Hezbollah and Israel fit this though.
I guess one more thing to point out is that Israel killed the first civillians and then the rocket attacks started.

If you actually do some research into how a terrorist is defined, then you may think differently.
It seems one of the main points in determining what a terrorist is is by the targets in which they attack. If they attack a military target, then they are not terrorists. If they attack civilian targets with the intent on causing terror and panic amongst the populace, then they are terrorists.
And with that in mind, I do believe that Hisballah has proven that they have been willing to do that in the past. Yes, they do attack military targets as well. I guess they don't discriminate.
Attacking military targets is one thing. But attacking unarmed civilians? That's just cowardly and dishonorable. They just justify it as killing "infidels", which is just a terrible concept.

Most Americans (and whites along with Jews) will answer that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. It is not the fault of common people because they are fed with information (supplied by respective governments and medias) which makes them think so. But Hezbollah are only defending their rights. But western media rules the world, and there is none who can fight what they want the people of the world to know; and they feed people just what they think is right from their perspective and from their perspective only.
In today's world, the word terrorist is a relative one: so called terrorists view their opponents as terrorists and with convincing reasoning. It is a paradox that has the whole world in its grip and please believe, that it is the western medias and governments who gave birth to it.

Hizbollah are NOT Terrorists. Terrorists are a group of people, with a common objective or belief, that use terror to promote or achieve their objective, and are not government backed.
