ok I know I am biased here but if other Arab nations wanted to truly help end the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians why don’t they open their borders to their Muslim brothers and allow them to immigrate to other Muslim nations and become citizens like Israel did for Jewish Arabs after 1948?
I mean if Israel is truly mistreating the Palestinians then why not help them out? I would bet you Israel would even pay for the expenses.
Instead this is how they treat them.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_refugee#Treatment_in_Arab_countries
the only conclusion I can draw is that other Arab nations truly do not want peace short of Israelis destruction and are using the Palestinians to do it. I wish I was wrong but I don’t understand it any other way.

boy this is giving me a headace. I am not suggesting for one moment that the Palestianians should be thrown out of their homes. I am just asking why dont other Arab nations become part of the solution and offer citizenship for those that want to leave.

you are absoultely right. I think that is one of the worst things Israel has done. In the case of your grandfater I stongly uge him to fight and get his land back. As for many Muslims that left because of the 48 and 67 wars if they have proof of land ownership they should be given the land back or at the very least be paid in full for it. Their is no exuse for not doing that

Actually they have, I guess you do not watch too much news.
The thing is no one wants to leave their own homeland and leave everything they have build over the years.
You may not know this but there is an agreement between Muslim countries which states that NO MUSLIM can be disallowed from other Muslim countries, regardless of his/her nationality.
I as an American citizen Muslim can go to ANY Muslim country without even a thought of being rejected for the visa or entry.

The truth is, the King of Jordan should rule the palestinians. He is palestinian. His country is palestinian. The PLO are thugs, that have been invited in, and booted out of every Arab nation. You're right about people being used as pawns. And even if Israel was called up into the sky, muslims would still battle over the country. These truths are self-evident.

The land of Israel is originally Arab land and it was through British machinations and Imperialism that the Arabs were forced to make way for Israel. Hence if the Palestinians are fighting they are fighting for a just cause. If the Superpowers are so interested in the welfare of Israelis they can give their own land in their own country to accommodate the entire Israelis by token of your own conclusion for Arabs to make way for Palestinians but these Superpowers don't like to do this for they are interested in their own politics to keep Arabs engaged lest they become united and a force to be reckoned with.
Is it possible for you to forget the home you lived in after you are forced to get out? Please search your heart honestly and the truth will dawn upon you.

If Americans really want to solve poverty in Cuba and Mexico, why don't they just open their borders to their north american brothers?
The issue here is that you're considering all arabs to be the same (a racist argument). They are not. There are egyptians, syrians, jordanians, etc, just as there are mexicans, americans, and cubans. Israel is part of the problem, forcing the palestinians into "occupied territory" and then systematically oppressing them to the point of their having to resort to suicide bombers. Why should countries surrounding Israel have to accept millions of refugees so Israel can expand into all of palestine, when Israel is the one that drove them into the camps to begin with? (see deir yassin)
If israel is truly mistreating the palestinians, why don't they STOP.

Too right....the other arab nations seem to be all hot air and putting up a faccade (palestinian welfare) for why they are truly fighting. They claim that they want to 'avoid dissolution of their identity' is that a joke or what! The arabs are just sore that the jews have part of their 'holy land' and that they can't do anything about it but bicker in the form of wars and propaganda. Im so not for muslim nations..i've lived in one long enough and don't approve of powers supressing democracy. They do what they want not because its right..but because it suits them.
-- BTW 'Mesum'...the question was pointed to why the other A nations would not give them citizenship (rights to benefits, protection etc in that land) and not about being allowed to 'enter' the country. You seem to have it mixed up.

The established arab states, for the most part, liked to keep the Palistinians as a stateless people and not absorb them themselves because that is one way to keep the Israeli-Arab conflict alive. Actually though, 90% of Jordan's population is of Palistinian descent, even it's queen being an Palistinian-American.

That would be giving up their pawns in the effort to destroy Israel.
If the Arabs were a peaceful civilized nation that cared for their own people, they would be the wealthiest people on the planet right now, thanks to the ocean of liquid gold under their lands.
Instead, they're obsessed with killing Jews. Too bad for them. And too bad for us.

that's exactly what the Israelis want them to do... they want to use physical and mental torture on the Palestinians until they are so fed up that they leave. I think the Muslims should stay and pray to God for their land back and use non-violence.

I don't think either side wants peace. Each side wants to be RIGHT!! As Dr.Phil says, "Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?" Well, they want to be "right" whatever the cost.
The paradoxical thing is that each side wants the OTHER to stop attacking THEM. This means that they are each treating the other side as though they are more "grown-up" than themselves and should take the initiative.(Naughty children behave that way, not ADULTS).
We should put something in their drinking water that destroys testosterone!
