I have two sons that are 26 and 24, 2 daughters, three and an 11-month-old preemie. Nothing comes between my children and me. At the moment, none of them are with me.
My boys are, of course, grown and gone.
My preemie is in the hospital. I have just come from there. My wife and I take turns with the baby. She is never without one of her parents with her.
And, my three year old is asleep. The fact that I do not require much sleep is the only reason that I am up at this time.
However, realize this please, that little girl will not always be the same and now is the only time that you have with her the way that she is right now.
