Well..Where do I start..the last day of my last period was five days ago...it was normal, not heavy or light, it only lasted around four days, and thats about two days shorter than usual. Now today i started spotting, it was a light red, not at all dark like the usual periods, and it was a lot thinner, like the blood of a finger cut., maybe even thinner. Also I was slightly cramping..I want to know is it possible for periods to start and stop like that...or could this be something more serious?
Also I've been really tired lately...but I get enough sleep, and i only work part time, so there's no real stress going on right now..?
LOL sounds silly but what if it's like cancer or something..
O.K. people give it to me straight!!

Could you be pregnant?
Sometimes periods aren't always exactly "normal". I've started and stopped like that, but again, could you be pregnant?
But, a wise answer would be to visit your gyno, tell him/her what's going on. Don't be embarrassed, that's what they're there for.

It's normal. Medications such as Advil or Tylenol, any pain reliever can stop your menstrual cycle and after a few days, start again. Check with your doctor for prescribed medication that treats cramps. Cramps are normal during your period. Usually, when you get your period, you tend to be tired and it's completely normal. Check out http://www.period.com/ for more info.

Periods can stop and start like that...You should ask the doctor for a blood test just in case you are anaemic. This can cause you to be tired.

See you doctor now - it may be nothing at all or it may be something, but they really have seen it all.
My first suspicion would be a miscarriage? Is there any chance at all you could have been pregnant?
Get it checked to make sure then at least you will stop worrying about what it MIGHT be.
Hope everything is OK

first, you should be asking you health care provider about this.
periods do strange things sometimes, stress, change in birth control many things can effect them. including living with another woman, one will usually adjust to match the others cycle. cancer possible but not likely, infection of some sort is more common, regardless go see your doctor.

Dont worry, its normal, I get that all the time.
some gets caught high up in the womb and travelsl down at
a later stage, the fact it was shorter than normal, on the outside didn't mean things were finished 'inside'

you need to see your doctor or practise nurse. any changes in your regular cycle must be investigated. you could have abnormal cervical cells and need a smear test, it could be stress but you'll worry and make it worse if you don't check it out. what is normal to one woman isn't to another so..
