Please don't think I'm trying to be funny when I say the term these days is "feminism." Actually, I usually refer to "so-called feminism," because it is not nearly so much pro-feminine as anti-masculine. Have you seen the tacky "man-bashing" greeting cards and other publicly displayed publications? It's so unfair precisely because it is the reverse of the historical norm, and therefore imagined to be affirmative action or reparations or some such. What does a young man today have to do with the repression of the past?

I'd like to see us get back to -- or rather forward to -- being ladies and gentlemen who treat each other with real respect, acknowledge our magical differences, and using those differences to form partnerships which really are so much more than the sum of their parts.

We are different precisely for that reason. Mother Nature knows what She's about: trust her.
