We need double pane windows with self-storing screens that are easy to clean, inside and out.

We live in Phoenix, Arizona. We have great windows in one room as part of a remodeling project; however, when we went to clean them, we couldn't remove the screens so one side of one window could not be cleaned. I don't know the brand name. I've heard that there are windows that tip inside so you can clean both inside and outside from inside your house.

I can't say which is "best", but Anderson Windows have an excellent reputation, and sell windows in many models, including tilt-out windows for cleaning. Their website is at the below link.

No, do NOT go to Home Depot or Lowes. The best, believe it or not, is Sears. I'm having mine done- double paned, hard to break, vinyl, totally screened, coated by manufacturer against bright sun, double locks on each and, including removal & disposal of old windows, installation AND TAX, comes to about $1,000 per for 5 windows. Size of windows matters in price, but this is totally worth it.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes, or a similiar Store, and check out all the windows , features, and price- Anderson is best but also a Caddilac Price- - That screen will come out, explore- probably have to lift up on it and twist a bit. Most windows the bottom sash will come out also, try to figure it out- look for Tabs on top of the Window sash.
