Im not attacking your religion friend just answering the question ( i say that cause i fear many people will attack your faith in this question)

But i can't speak for everyone just me, but i am a wiccan priest and i personally do not believe Jesus was gods son. I believe he was an amazing man but i do not believe he was gods son. The majority of people who aren't christian are usually offended by christians or people of any faith attempting to "share" their religion with them. That is why they are so hostile. May the God and Goddess bless your path friend. Good luck

God gave us free will, so some will reject Jesus. Just like some Christians hate Jews when Christ was a Jew. But I have a good friend that was Jewish and died and was brought back to life...she says she meet Jesus who told her he was the Christ and the way and he asked her to believe so she could enter the kingdom of heaven. She did and he told her it wasn't her time yet. So I believe Christ will gives us the opportunity to have that relationship until the very end he desires that relationship and asks for it. He will never gives up. :-)

People Reject Out Of Ignorance

Yes, I believe you 100%!!! Why do idiots NOT believe in Jesus? When I talk about Jesus sometimes, I get people looking at me like I am weird. We are truely persecuted my friend. Some people can never believe the truth. Jesus was not the last prophet. After Jesus was Muhammad, Joseph Smith Jr., Rasputin, Hitler, Charles Manson, David Koresh and George W. Bush. Bush IS on record saying God wanted him to be President. And we know Mel Gibson hears voices too... wait... I just lost my faith... oops!

Because there are thousands and thousands and thousands of religions and belief systems in the world, so how do we know that yours is the correct one? All of them are the same in that they all just take faith, and there isn't "scientific proof" for any of them (no matter what anyone says), so how do we know? Why are the Jews wrong? Why are the Muslims wrong? Why are the Buddhists wrong? Why are the people that follow the lesser known African or Indian religions wrong? Hinduists? Confucianists?

It's great that you believe in what you do, but to say Christianity is correct is to say that every other way of thinking on the planet is wrong, and many people, such as myself, do not like to jump to such a huge conclusion.

Actually, only his sheep hear his voice. His sheep are God's Elect. God must call you to join the flock. You must accet God as your heavenly Father and Jesus as your Saviour and then do what they say! (repent, baptism, prayer, watch for the end signs, witness, obey all 10 commandments and the teachings of Jesus)

Because not everyone is called to believe in God who is Jesus. Not everyone has the ability and the Mercy of God to believe in God who is Jesus. They are the vessels of Wrath that God has chosen to condemn to eternal destruction.

If I remember correctly, when Jesus died and ressurected he returned to his "father". So what did god actually lose when Jesus died?

And how in principal can a god sacrifice itself? Sacrifice requires loss. If god can be diminished in any way he would not be god.

An omnipotent being can not sacrifice anything or it would be a contradiction.

For me, making no assumptions is something that helps me bring good into the world.

I not so self-centred to put going to heaven above helping others.

Note that for other people, they do not have to make that choice, and doing stuff to get to heaven helps them live moral lives.

A warning: anyone who says people reject Jesus from (ignorance, fear, hatred) is blinding you to the real truth about other people, for the sake of their own comfort, and it is not our place to put our comfort above the truth.

I don't reject Jesus. I reject the people who have for generations twisted his word and used it to mame, torture and kill others in it. I reject the leaders that say that they know him, but abuse the people who follow up in their heart by taking their money, and still telling them they are going to either a nonexistent heaven or hell. look in your heart and soul. not in a church or a bible. you will be able to find the truth yourself.
