If Christendom believe that they will all go to Heaven when they die. Once there, are they then going to be removed from heaven and then be placed back on earth, when the ressurection takes place? For it is clearly stated that both the righteous AND unrighteous will be resurrected.
John5:28,29
Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
Acts 24:15
and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Not all Christians religions teach this. I follow ONLY the Bible, and the Bible states in many places, when we die we are merely "asleep", until we are resurected. THAt is what I belive. Death is kind of like "sleeping" until Christ returns. They are neither in Heaven, nor in Hell at this time.

When the bible speaks of the grave in many passages and in this passage, it is not speaking of people who are dead, lying in a grave. In such instances, the bible is referring to the people in the graves as those who are dead in sin. These two verses in John tell us that those who are dead in sin will hear the voice of God, the word of God and be judged. The good, saved, will seek eternal life and the evil, unsaved, will seek damnation. Both the righteous and the unrighteous will hear the word; that is Paul's hope: Acts 24:15
I see, according to answers people posted that many are confused on this concept...2 Corinthians 5:8 tells us that absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our souls leave our bodies upon death and the souls of the saved will go to be with the Lord.

You are correct. We all sleep in the grave awaiting Christ's return at the seventh trump. Then the true Christians are resurrected(The dead in Christ) and rise up into the air to meet Christ along with the elect which remains alive at his second coming! Heaven is not in the sky but here on earth with Christ. After the Millenium, God returns to Earth with the new Earth/Heaven, called new Jerusalem.

Those who are already in heaven will be resurrected from the graves on the earth in the blink of an eye and they will be with Jesus in the clouds with a glorified body. The resurrection will happen as quickly and just like Jesus was raised and they will receive an eternal glorified body. Also those who are alive at the Rapture will be instantly changed and have glorified bodies with Jesus in the clouds. There is no contradiction in these verses.

The sinners will be resurrected to face Judgement before God. That is what the Bible means. Thereafter, those who have sinned and have not confessed their sins will be thrown into hell. While the good ones will go to Heaven. =) get it now?

At the resurrection, our souls/spirits are provided new bodies.

Based on the New Testament, I do not believe in soul-sleep.

Cordially,
John

I read your quote and I don't see what this "misconception" is that you are talking about.

Thats exactly what I believe.

So what was the point you were trying to make?
