I asked this before and I'm not looking for attention. I don't want links that are supposed to lead me into believing there is proof of Jesus's existance. All I want to know is how we know what Jesus looked like and if we don't then why did we give him a face?

He is described in the Bible, but you can't necessarily rely on that because it was rewritten and translated so many times...all I know is that he was born in Israel and would look Middle Eastern. The faces he was given reflected the cultures of those who gave them to him.

That's difficult.Let me try,Jesus had a contemplated behavior. And behavior can be found in your face. As far as I know he who has contemplated behavior.He is to have a contemplated and soft face.
That's why people make his face like that.

We can't know what He looked like. No artist painted Him that we know of, and of course there were no cameras. The best you can do is look at an average Jewish man from the mid-east.
