Because people are dumb people can say your scared or lazy but maybe there the ones who are scared if they wernt they wouldent think of things to describe what they cant and there to ignorant to get there heads out of there @$$ and find out the reason why you believe what you do no one is a freak for believeing the way they do

A lot of people have a hard time understanding atheists. They take for granted that they take their belief in a deity as fact, and that others do not share that view. Another part is that people hold the misconception that atheists are somehow immoral or untrustworthy. This stems perhaps from the view of some major religions (like Christianity) that humans are sinners and need a god to lay down rules and keep everyone from killing each other.

Because humans can't deal with things that are 'different'. It scares them. They need their religion to feel safe and to explain away all the scary realities of life. It's the same as heterosexuals thinking homosexuals are freaks. It makes them question things they don't want to question.
So stop scaring the wingnuts and conform already!
Head to a church, check your mind at the door and become one of the sheeple! ;)

I don't think you are a freak. But I have to agree with God's Word which says, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." Psalm 14:1

Well, there r not that much athiests on this earth, most are christians, and maybe it's rare for them to actually see an athiests.

I dont think you are a freak.
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

because their faith is weak and the mere existance of someone who doesn't share that faith shakes theirs to the core they cover it by being hostile towards you.
