But of course, it doesn't matter to an atheist what the religious preference his/her partner has. He is a freethinker. The question is if it's possible for a religious person to be involved to an atheist.

Sure ! If you are an Atheist, What better than to have a religious person in the fox hole with you during battle. You have both ends covered. And life is one big fox hole after another. Good Luck, Jer

oh definitely, big time. love isn't about religion, it's about emotion, compatibility-- and whatever else love is about. (who knows, right?)

but i'm christian, and i've been romantically involved with an athetist before-- and almost brought him over to the light. lol

so, that's probably the problem.. at the end of it, you want the other person to believe what you believe, especially if you believe in God and hell-- and you think that the other person's going to go to hell, and you wouldn't want that for your loved one.. so it becomes your personal mission to save them.. and likewise for the athetist-- it's their personal mission to rescue you to some "common sense".. so, it's challenging.. but it's possible.

How can you be an athiest and believe that religious people even exist? If you don't believe in religion, Then you can't believe in religious people...... Get it?

sure. My bf's religous and I am not. It rarely comes up- we just each respect that the other person feels differently and don't try to convert them.
