i have almost the same hair lenghts and cant get it to look like that

Try hair gel, hair spray and/or moose! It gets the best results and it keeps your hair in place! Hope this helps!

Hair dye, gel, hair putty, and spray it. but no one will want to run their fingers through it with all that crud in it.

Wax will give it texture and a light hold. Finish with hairspray to hold it more.

put gel on it...
one of my students once told me that he puts Elmer's glue on his hair... he says don't worry cause it'll wash off...
maybe you can try that...
if it doesn't work, you can always go bald, right?
