It is very pretty decorated for Christmas, and sometimes it "snows" (fake snow). The earlier int eh month is better for avoiding crowds, before the schools go on Winter break. Tehy also do a Halloween (October) decoration theme. The best part about going in the Winter is that it shouldn't be too hot (65-70 F), and it rarely rains in So. Cal in December.

Sure is! Christmas time is always a fun time at Disney! It does tend to be more crowded, especially close to Christmas. I recommend visiting in early December and go somewhere in the middle of the week... like a Thursday. Never attempt to go on a weekend. The parks will be far too crowded to truly enjoy anything.

Main street will have its tree up and all of their fun decorations and the Haunted Mansion is transformed into Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

It depends on what you want. The closer to Christmas and New Year's the more crowded it is. If you're trying to avoid crowds, and still want to see the fake snow and lights, then you should try the beginning to middle of December. There's a lot of events there during Christmastime, so it will be fun any way you slice it, but New Year's day is a zoo. Make sure you get a flex pass or park hopper, that way you can get more out of the trip.

Disneyland is always busy, your best bet is during the week and when school is in session. First two weeks in December.
