Please just answer this question, without adding to it or taking away from it , its a simple question....

If you had a very best friend, and there was someone about to murder you and you were going to die a horrible death, and your best friend steps in and says NO! Take me instead, I will take his/her place. Would you say that friend loves you? And also would you love that friend? Would you say that this friend proved their love? Would you say this friend was cruel and unjust? Or would you say this friend was wonderful and love them eternally?

"Greater love hath no man than this that he would lay down his life for his friends." Uttered from the Great lips of the Lord Jesus Christ. I would without a doubt say that that friend showed the greatest love that a human could show for another human. i would try and repay that love on another person.

that's an exciting question to me. the human beings from Puerto Rico are human beings and Spanish is the language use interior the country. In legal words Spanish and English are the two respected language yet many unquestionably everyone isn't bilingual. whilst the u . s . a . take possession of the island in 1898 band the Spanish by using fact the respected language and the coaching replace to English. finally the Spanish prevails. If the u . s . a . enforce a regulation to make the English the respected language, what they are going to do with Puerto Rico? many countries like Spain has an excellent sort of language (Basque, Castillian, Catalan, and so on) and all of the electorate are Spaniards.

Yes, I would love the person, and it'd prove that they loved me. Simple question, simple answer. That alone does'nt make them automaticly supernatural or divine though.
(this is true) When I was a kid, I once remarked to my Mother, "If someone told me to jump into a fire-pit, or they'd shoot you, I'd do it." My mother replied, "I'd not LET you do that. I could'nt bear to let you do that, I love you too much"
Does this alone mean I'm a god? Does it mean that my mother's God? But it illustrates the paradox of the Christian paradigm. If Jesus is the son of God, then it means that God not only allowed his son to make the choice, but forced him to die a horrible death. By it's own value system then, they're saying that God's mean, brutal. and loves his power more than his children.

If my very best friend died, as a result of standing up for me and saving my life.....I would be extremely grateful, sad and perhaps emotionally scarred. I would continue on with my life as best I could under the circumstances.....hoping that I could give something back to another someday and make my life worthwhile, knowing that my best friend would have it no other way.

My best friend would not save a life, that is not worth saving.

Excellent question!

I would say the friend was cruel and unjust, simply because that conclusion makes absolutely no sense... Of course, that's not the case! How could anyone make the argument that what they did was cruel and unjust -- even for the sake of argument?

A rhetorical question, then?

I love my best friend and would not want them in the room at all, let alone walking into the line of fire.

I have no loyalty or sincerity tests that my best friend has to pass. We've known each other since we were children. It's the greatest blessing of my life.

It's a beautiful sentiment, anyone who would take a bullet for you is more than just a friend, they're called heroes. Jesus of course took that bullet and has been used as a curse ever since.

Love is giving without asking anything in return. To give one's life for your protection sounds like that friends loves you a lot.

personally I would not be the one saying "take me" unless I'm protecting a member of my family or someone I really love, like my girlfriend
i don't think i would have the courage to say it if it was my best friend, if he/she doesn't happen to be in my family or my girlfriend

but ya I would say this person can only do it out of extreme love as he/she would consider that person to be a family hence he/she would sacrifice themselves to save that person
