I met a guy at a party a couple weeks ago at my university. I ended up talking to him for hours, made out, and slept over at his place without having sex. We are both virgins. He called me a couple days later and asked to hang out. We ended up watching a movie, talked, and held each other while sleeping. He texted me to call me before I left for my vacation to tell me to have a nice time and to call him when I get back.
1) Please do not respond with "I think he's gay" just because we did not have sex. I know plenty of straight guys in college who are surprisingly virgins.
2) I would like to know the status of this. Does he like me? Are we just friends?
3) Is this normal? Has this happened to you?

Well lets answer this like you wrote it question number by number.
1) No he is not gay...he seems like a nice responsible young man who might be a bit on the mature or religious side.
2) He likes and respects you, and you might initially be friends but since he seems to like to make out it is more than friendship already. (friends hardly ever have make out sessions ...lol!!!)
3) Yes its quite normal -- he might be a keeper -- and yes my first steady girlfriend we were like this for 3 years.

This is a lot like my very first relationship. I'm sure that he's just shy and he probably does not know how he is supposed to act. I'm certain that he's afraid of going too far or doing the wrong thing and screwing everything up. So if it seems like he may not like you, I am almost 100% sure that he really likes you. So if he does or says something stupid, don't hold it against him too much, he's just learning the ropes and will get better.

I think you should spen less time thinking about it :) I mean, if the guy is a virgin he would be too shy to approach you, so most probably if you want to have sex with him you will have to do the first move.
And yes, no doubt he likes you. No guy would spend his time on a girl he does not like. Give it a try.

O.K out straight the is NOT gay you got nothing to worry about.Yes he does like you a lot to be honest & it would just kill him if you hooked up with someone else.He's playing it safe cos he likes you so much.Not to mention haveing respect for you.My advice to you is go with the flow.When he starts holding your hand walking around or putting his arm around you,you know your with the fella.Better yet,get one of your friends to ask him on the basis that SHE is the one confused.but make sure your not in the same room when she asks him.This guy sounds like the kinda guy you can't make jelous just in case he loose interest thinking that your not interested him.So play it safe, & go with the flow

As I said before, it's not normal and if it were it would mean that you are just friends.
If you want something more (and it looks as if you really like this guy) you have to give him subtle hints and if nothing works, for god's sake tell him.
Or even easier, just kiss him!

yeah . it did happen to me. but here it could mean that.. you are going out with him.
but to be certain whether he's your boyfriend or not... just ask him.
because sometimes you can't just assume that you are bf and gf... because you can be dating and still be friends.. (unless you've been dating for quite a while) but just ask him where you guys stand. it'd be nice to hear his affirmation and test him whether he is willing to commit instead of letting you sit on the fence.
