It's been prophecied about for thousands of years that at some point Satan and his servants would cause people to take a mark or they wouldn't be able to buy or sell unless they had this mark in their hand or in their forehead. One of the things those who take the mark will have to do is deny and forsake all existing religious leaders and that includes Christ.
For those of you that are Atheists, when you see this prophecy being fulfilled will you believe then? It would take alot of rationalizing to not see it fulfilled when it happens. When this blatant fulfillment of prophecy is presented before you, will you accept it and live in Satan's kingdom for a few years and then be destroyed. Or will you reject it, seeing that it is coming true as was foretold and recieve an eternal reward? You won't be able to deny it was prophecied because it is happening right before your eyes.
Then you will know without a doubt it was of God, and that will leave you accountable to make a choice.

Nate...think about it, those who believe have no reason to be scared because they have faith that all will be well, those who don't believe have no reason to be afraid because they think it's nonsense anyways. So who's scared here? I'm no pentecost dude... I know all about them. This is a real question from a believers point of view.
Just ask yourself what would happen to me if I really did see a prophecy fulfilled. What would I do? That's all I'm asking, no scare tactics involved.

Gracefully, you are correct, that is something that I personally believe after much scripture study and prayer, but I bring it up to point out that Christ will be among them. Guess it doesn't matter really, the main point is you will have to deny Christ because the new regime/religion will be Luciferian in nature.

John thank you very much sir, that is pretty much what I believe also. Pretty simple question really, I wish more could give it a well thought out answer.

Eridani, I'm impressed, that is the most intelligent and well thought out answer I've ever recieved from an Atheist when it comes to religion. Thank you for your view point.

IIemma, what exactly is the message here? I think you, like most of the other Athiests, are reading waaay too much into what I wrote. The mark of the beast hasn't happened yet! This is a hypothetical question, all you need is answer it, not chastise me for any ill-percieved wrongs against humanity. Take a note from Eridani (who seems to be the only Atheist who can answer without getting all emotional on me,) and read c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y! Remember no message, just a hypothetical question from an admittedly bias point of view.... Thanks!

Some atheists will turn to God and avoid the mark; and some will continue to reject God, and will accept the mark.
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

I am an athiest. I don't hate all religion. I think that each one has core values and principles that are right. All of the holy books were written by mankind. They all have very good things in them, but ...... They are written by man and many times over they are rewritten by man. The prophecy that you speak of was not even in the old testament of the bible. It was added when the Romans wrote the new testament. It is a scare tactic made up by men so they can use fear as a form of control. This prophecy is also ONLY found in the new testament of the Christian bible. You cannot deny the other books when they "come" from the same god. And yes it is the same god. The Muslims, Jews, and Christians all share the same god. It is the technicallities that make the religions different.
Just so you know, the government is having microchips made that will be implanted into the hand of all the people. This chip will hold all of your personal records as well as all banking records. It will be a monitary device and bank card all in one. Dubbed "The Mark Of The Beast". The company responsible for this is called Applied Digital Solutions and the product is called the Verichip.
I have a few questions for you and you alone- Why do Christians assume that Lucifer is some kind of wretched beast demon? He was gods most beautiful angel. Why is it evil if you see that something is wrong and fight for what you believe in? Lucifer was basically told "You angels aren't good enough, these humans are better than you." I would be pissed off too. I AM NOT A SATANIST, but Lucifer is the most misunderstood and lied about character in that book.

A non-believer cannot answer your question. It assumes that it will happen, there is a God, there is a mark of the beast, there is an antichrist, and there is a Devil. Atheists, generally, don't like quick and easy answers, or leading questions. You're asking a leading question. An agnostic can answer this question, however.
As an atheist, I don't ever see any of this happening. The idea of someone forcing people to deny religion in order to survive isn't realistic. People would revolt, and there goes their system of government.
In the unlikely event that it did happen, I would not take it, but at that point I'm surprised your God would take me if he's all about faith. I've just had it 'proven' to me, so where's the faith? I know for sure.

you be conscious of there are such ingredient as loonies available, who think of they see and hear issues, which at the instant are not in all probability there. there are maximum of human beings who do loopy and silly issues. Why are you blaming christians? because of the fact the Bible explains the mark of the beast? This guy needless to say replaced into residing in worry, in certainty HE desires JESUS! What if it have been some guy who shrink off his hand because of the fact he mentioned he observed a image of the stickmoose on it-- could this make him much less loopy? known there is somebody available who does something outrageous and it makes the headlines. i've got faith sorry for those human beings. edit: additionally to those who're speaking approximately if this guy somewhat did have the mark, do you recognize this would possibly not ensue until eventually the develop of the anti christ comes into skill?

I don`t think the mark of he beast is going to be so noticable, that people will really think it is the mark of the beast, I think the devil will decieve people into taking the mark, and they will have no idea thats what it is. Bible says if it were possable even the very elect would be decieved,,please look at the world now, we have our checks we earn by working, going directly into the bank, we never even touch our money, we use credit or debit, or check, all have numbers, they are memorised in our minds, or they are in our hands, and if they wanted to they could fix it where we couldn`t even get to our own money, making it impossable to buy anything. But thats just my feelings right now, I may find later that im wrong, so follow not what I say, just read the scriptures and find your own salvation. thats what im doing.

That is just one prophecy, when Jesus came to the Earth two thousand years ago, a fact documented by several non Jewish historians (read what Josephus has to say) He fulfilled over 130 prophecies. The likelihood of one person doing this is the same as a person buying a lottery ticket every week and winning the jackpot every week for the next million years.

One thought to consider: I know that the Christian faith instructs Christians to render unto Caesar's what is Caesar's -- in other words, to adhere to worldly rules in worldly things.
In your question, you are explicitly violating the rules here -- the terms of service, which ask you to use the forum only for true questions and answers, for situations when you need information and others can supply it.
An analogy might be grabbing a traffic cop's megaphone away from him in order to spread your message. You may be saying positive things, but you are using your faith to disrupt the way that others live, which seems to violate the principle of humility.
Is going against community standards really the best way to spread your message?

End-of-times flakes can't even decide what "the mark" is ... and they'll claim anything that seems to fit any potential interpretation, from a physical device or mark ... to belonging to an organization or group ... to simply believing in certain philosophical ideologies ... as long as they have the opportunity to point and chime about being right.
Seek the truth rather than seeking to prove yourself correct.

Right now the angels are going around the world looking for people with the knowledge of the Word and sealing them. Putting the seal of God in their foreheads.
When this is complete, Satan with his angels will be booted out of Heaven. Theirs is to torment those without the mark in their foreheads for five months.
These people don't have to believe in God or Satan for that matter because they are given over to Satan by God Himself because they made the decision by not making a decision to accept Jesus Christ.
We are almost out of time for the Grace of God will be over when Satan arrives. Its too late then. Now is the time to decide. All must choose life or die.><>
