Can you fall into love once at the same extent as you did at the first time especially you got hurt from that one you have loved most? Can negative/unfortunate experience makes you easily give up/move on in the later relationship?

Yes, it is always difficult. After my first-love I couldn't love anybody else - I thought that I would never be able to love somebody to the same 'quality' l loved him but, then, after 4 years and a lot of guys and "so called relationships" I found this wonderful guy, he was just the best - I loved him just SO much - more than I ever loved anybody else, ever.

Unfortunately,,, we broke up and now it feels like I'll never love again (all over again) and this time is much worse... I don't think I'll ever love somebody the same way and level I loved him!

They say: Once bitten, twice as shy and every time you love, you love a little less...

Time heals but you only have one 'soulmate' and if you've love and lost, at least you can say that you loved with your whole heart and you know what it means to love with everything you have!

That is one I have been pondering for 2 yrs. I was(still am) VERY much in love with my ex-wife. I worshipped her. And while I was in Iraq, she left me for another man. I was very hurt for a long time.
Anyways, i met another who is a good woman. A keeper for the most part. I love her...but it's not nearly on the same level as the one I felt with my ex. I can't seem to get rid of that feeling and I would give anything to get that back.
They say it can take some time to heal the pain. But I don't think that the love ever really leaves you, especially if they were your soulmate. It's a tragedy, really.
You just have to learn to live with it. I have.

But to answer your question....i don't think so. It depends if that person was your soulmate or not.

Well I think there are different kinds of love. You won't ever feel what you felt in your past relationship, but all hope is not lost. I believe you can fall in love again, and with the same intensity as the first time but you will be stronger and with more experience and that in the ends makes a difference, in you and your relationship.
