how is assuming anything without proof a sign of arrogance? i don't see how you came up with the question? are you asking cuz you believe God exist without proof and you feel like your sinning? or are you trying to tell Christians they are hypocrites?

By proof you mean some document saying he exists?......That works both ways right?...By assuming there is no God without proof he doesn't exist is that not arrogance then?
Or is that a double standard?....
It's something called faith which means knowing he exists and not needing any worldly proof..the proof is in your heart.

Sure, but they're "not perfect, just forgiven" or some such rubbish. I'm sure you'll get all sorts of scripture quoted as "proof". When ya do, point out to them that the bible's a book written by men claiming to represent God. And that sometime in the middle-ages, the church convened a conference to rewrite the bible. They omitted passages, added some, and changed all sorts of "do's" to "dont's" and vis/versa.

I do not assume- I KNOW God exists. He has proven to me that He exists many times over throughout my life. He is faithful and just and works miracles and other wonderful things in my life and the lives of those I have known. I Praise Him for His Holiness and His Perfect Love.

No. No more than ANY SCIENTIFIC "THEORY" would be ARROGANT before IT TOO could be proven. PERIOD.

God does not make Himself "obvious" because we need to believe on "faith alone." If we can't believe in him from looking at the sand, trees, leaves, bee's, stars and universe, our dna, to the largest things, then we really don't deserve his mercy, we're just not intelligent enough. Sorry, its just that BASIC. God doesn't accept EVERYONE, only those whose Hearts are right. Salvation is there, however not everyone is GOING TO ACCEPT IT!

I have a proof. And the greatest of it is the world around me. All this things will never happen just by mere chance, but rather it is planned carefully and created. So if you don't believe i challenge you:how could the world and you be created w/out someone that created you. And if it is created because of a phenomena explained by science, then how could that phenomena be made w/out a creator and so on.

No, it's called faith. And I think we've established that we Christians are sinners and...that is why we believe in Christ...any of this sound familiar...where have you been? Seems like this was covered over and over and over again.

One cannot prove that the universe is infinite, but yet many believe it.

One cannot even prove beyond a reasonable doubt that evolution exists but it is the belief of the majority, is it not?

One cannot prove that psychic ability exists beyong a reas. doubt, but yet many people believe that it does.

The world is full of things we take --on faith.
