This is a prayer from long ago. Can you help me find its source.?

It is a morning prayer:

The morning sun has risen now
Can let us turn to God in prayer
And beg him shield our soul from harm
Each hour, each moment, everywhere
Thus when nightfall come
God grant us still perserving in his grace
May sing his praises worthily.

Beautiful prayer.

I dont know its source.
Sounds like something from the Franciscans.
