I met a guy at a party a couple weeks ago and I spent the night at his place, WITHOUT having sex. We just talked for a couple hours and held each other while we slept. We are both virgins and in college. He called me a couple days later and we hung out again, this time, at his apartment. We did the same thing again. We watched a movie, talked, and then held each other while we slept. I returned to my parent's for a couple weeks before fall semester starts, and he contacted me before I left telling me to have a fun trip and to call him when I get back. We are not really dating, nor have we known each other long enough to be friends. What is the status of this? Does he like me? What do you think will happen?

Hmm, I forgot to mention we made out. But that's because kissing is nothing to me, heh.

I have no idea what will happen, but stay in touch with him and try to see him again soon --this situation has REAL POTENTIAL, you get along without having to paw at each other.

If this turns into love, and it could, the two of you could catch on fire --this MIGHT turn into a perfect romance. Don't throw anything away here.

But! But! But! Uh. He could be gay, that's an alternative explanation for what's going on here.

I think you need to ask him. It's pretty strange that you guys haven't done anything. Just give him subtle clues that you're interested and if it doesn't work just tell him how you feel. You can be friends with him if it doesn't work out. Just don't get too attached until you find out what is on his mind.

That means he respects you or he is waiting for you to make the first move. Don't try to rush things. Let everything flow. If you don't consider each other as friends then you should try and talk about it to him.
