This is not a debate about trinities or no trinities.

It is a simple question. Does the Bible teach that the Godhead is a mystery and that no man can understand?

Godhead is a translation of a Greek work ( I forgot which one) that means deity. The Godhead = The Deity, i.e. the Almighty One, YHWH.

I dont know of a place that says that no man can understand they mystery of the Godhead, I am almost certain it doesn't say
that, It is not a mystery to a child of God, but understanding is
lacking to those who dont know God.

INFACT.....HERE IS SCRIPTURES THAT TALK ABOUT
UNDERSTANDING THE GODHEAD..

Rom 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Rom 1:18 ¶ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. ............... continue on if you like.......

HE GIVES UNDERSTANDING SO THAT WE ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE

No. God is shown to be the Almighty of the entire universe. He has a son, Jesus, who he sent to earth to do His will. Jesus was not the same as God, he said that he was carrying out his Father's will, and not his own (Luke 22:42; John 5:30). God uses His Holy Spirit to get things done, but this is not a person, and therefore a manifestation of God in another form to support the Trinity, but a personalitiless entity (Gen 1:2; Matt 3:16, 17). Therefore, God is clearly shown to have a son, and use an active force to accomplish His purpose. However, the Trinity idea is invalid as it is unsupported by the Bible. If Jesus wanted us to understand that he and God were equals, he would have referred to God as a brother, not as a clearly, hierarchically, more powerful Father.

No there is no place that says "that no man can understand ". The GodHead is mentioned IN Colosians 2:9 - Act17:29 - Romans 1:20.In the Gospels when Jesus is being Baptized by John We see the God head we see Jesus we see the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove and we hear the Fathers voice from heaven all at the same time. There is reference in Scripture that all three are referred to as God. In Acts Peter rebukes Ananias an his wife Sapphira for lying and Peter says 'why have you lied to THE Holy Spirit ........you have not lied to man but to God ,Act 5:1-4
You probably dont have a problem with the Father being referenced as God .. there are all of those. And Christ says He is the "I AM " of the old testament. And for that the Jew wanted to kill him for blasphemy they knew what He meant.

The Bible gives us glimpses of the God head, In Genesis you read "let us make man...", In the Gospels Jesus declares himself to be "I AM" These words drove the Pharisees into a frenzy because Jesus was declaring Himself to be equal to God. There is no passage that describes the Godhead clearly though. The issue of the trinity has been an ongoing debate for too long. The bottom line is they (Father, Son and Spirit) are one and the same, yet seperate and distinct. I personally believe we are trying to rationalize a relationship that transcends our understanding of existence, but a strong part of human nature is having the answer, that's what were all doing here :-)

Trinity is a false teaching. Not once no where will you find in the bible that Jesus says he is the one true God. He says the opposite, to worship his Father only. The word Trinity is no where found in the bible. I think If God had of sent himself down, he would of made 100% sure that all knew exactly who he was. Not really the son, but actually the one true God.

The Bible does not teach 'Godhead' at all.The trinity is a pagan doctrine that was fused in with apostate Christianity. It is not a Bible teaching.
There is only one true God and his name is Jehovah.
There is one only begotten Son of the Father and his name is Jesus
Holy Spirit is not a person, but God's active force, what he uses to accomplish his purposes.

Yes, in Colossians chapter 3 I believe and John chapter 8. The Lord Jesus said that He came forth out of God. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. He is the very nature, character, and representation of God. Jesus Christ is an extension of God who functions as a mediator and intercessor for man. Whereas, the Holy Spirit is also an extension of God who acts as the creative force by which God's will is carried out. The best way I can explain it is like your left and right arms are extensions of you. But it is your main body with your head which gives all the directions. Likewise, is it with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

The true purpose of the Bible is not to cloud the devotee's perception of God, but to bring one closer to the greater Truth. God in form of the Son is a representation of God's presence in all humanity, and the indivisibility of the two. Any religion that seeks to push its initiates away from the bosom of the Divine rather than acting as a conduit of learning between the two is grossly misguided and inherently evil.

Here is a brief synopsis of the Trinity:

There is only ONE God. He manifests himself in three personas/persons/manifestations for the purposes of the redemption of, and relationship with, human beings.

Contrary to what some people say, there is nothing irrational or illogical about this concept (of the Trinity).

For an explanation (and defense) of the doctrine of the Trinity, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/sect/doc/trinity.html

Cordially,
John

Yes, but I wouldn't call Him the "Godhead", I'd just call Him "God". And the Trinity is true. One God; Three Persons.
