I'm not sure what you mean by "true" Jews. Either you are one or you aren't. If you mean righteous vs. wicked I guess I see your point. But if you are simply referring to the race, than some were unaware, and some weren't. Actually it seems the vast majority of them, even the Apostles weren't aware of the complete nature of the Son of God and His mission. Think about the Apostles wondering why Jesus kept referring to His furture death and their unwillingness to accept it. Why were they unwilling? Because their "traditions" taught them that Christ would come not only as a religious ruler but as an earthly King. Essentially they were waiting for the Second Coming and didn't realize the importance of His mortal mission.

G-d gave the Jews the entire set of requirements needed to identify the true Messiah. When Jesus came, and supposedly claimed to be the Messiah, the Jews looked at the list contained in the TORAH. Jesus did not meet one signel requirement of the Messiah!

The reasons that Christians accepted him was two-fold. The gentiles of that time were uneducated and could not read the texts for themselves. Someone had to read for them, and that person lied to them.

Secondly, since G-d told the Jews exaclty what to llok for and Jesus was not the Messiah, the Jews followed the word of G-d. Not the word of a deranged carpenter.

If Christians actually took the time to read the actual TORAH in Hebrew, without all the mistransations made by Christianity, they woud all convert to Judaism. The one true word of G-d.

No, they were made aware but the thing is in the Old Testament the word Son of God is always referred to anyone chosen by God to accomplish a mission like David, Solomon. For the Israelites, starting from the line of Adam, if you look in the Book of Luke, the genealogy of Jesus says that Adam was the Son of God therefore making them children of God.
The nature of making Jesus as Divine Son of God was totally made by the Roman Catholics a reason why Jewish Christian Orthodox cut off their relationships.

Many true Jews accept Yeshua (Jesus) as the Son of God.
Such Jews are called Messianic Jews.

E.g., see http://www.JewsForJesus.org

Messianic Judaism is a growing movement within the Jewish community world-wide.

Cordially,

Quite the opposite: It is because jews knew his true nature (that of an eccentric and confused person) that jews rarely bought into the christian trap.

Yes. They refused to accept Him as the Son of God; the messiah that they are still waiting for.

Many of the Jews saw him for what he was.A man, among many, who claimed to be something he wasn't.There were many self proclaimed messiahs then.I think it is telling that more did not believe then did.It tells me that the miracles he performed were not very impressive if he couldn't even get everyone behind him.

Many didn't recognize him because he was born in a manger, was a carpenter, and was humble. He didnt come into the world as a great KING.
