Have you ever sensed something is going to happen before it does? Do you sometimes feel you can read people's minds? If you answered "yes" to these questions, you might have the sixth sense: extra-sensory perception — also known as ESP.

Psychic ability is more common than you might think. Scientific studies show that almost everyone has some level of ESP — and that you can enhance the psychic skills you have.

Tell me your experience?

The woman above me is referring to "Empathy" which is a bit different. All people have a sixth sense. Due to the duality of human existance, your subconscious mind creates your reality according to your thought expectations (your mind creates your reality / your thought manifest) so in a way, you yourself create the situations you have a sixth sense about, but in the moreover sense of the term, you sense an occurance that you perceivabley have no control over. Combine both of those ideas, and you have the sixth sense as a whole. It's power is amplified by belief and practice of it's utilization.

Yes I have known I have touches of ESP, though it has largely happened with pointless things like the next song that would come on the radio would sometimes jump into my head while I was already going along with the current song... Sometimes have sensed police cars on the road before I spot them, get a feeling when another car wants into the lane before they make any move or signal... Clearly this happens most often on the road so I think there is a heightened awareness. But there are other times too when I'm not on the road.

Biggest time it ever worked for me, I must have been worried about a long distance acquaintance for quite some time and didn't know why...hoped things were ok, figured 'no news is good news', and tried to brush it off as my own needless worry but it wouldn't go away. He later passed away, suicide, in '03... Biggest and worst time the ESP ever worked 'cuz I didn't even realize the feeling was legit until it was too late...but much of life is like that...

yes, I have psychic dreams that I travel to a foreign country and see what's it like there before I visit there on a vacation and confirm what I've seen. When I was in high school, I read a book called "Real Magic". It's was about psychic experiences and the "laws of magic". I tried to do and astral travel exercise on my bed one afternoon and was able to escape outside my body for a few seconds. I look back and saw my body and got scared so I reemerge with my body. I've heard that when you do astral travel , you are still attached to the belly button with this white string and if you leave your body too long; evil spirits can take over your body. Eversince I have an interest in the occult at the same time with martial arts. I tried a few spells from magic books and psychic exercises and found they are good experiences.

yes it was there but we have lost it as we developed all other of our senses now we are losing some of the other senses too.

We can develop the 6th sense too for starters try this out
When in your house for example
If you usually keep your book in a particular place change the place and imagine 5 or 6 things that might happen to the book. Like It may be kept back in its place by one of the other members of the house or it may go to the dustbin or your pet may spoil it. Have one of them as sure to happen then see what happens. If you can predict what happens then there is every chance of you developing your 6th sense. Dont get worried if you dont get it right the first time try this or different things several times if you are not sucessful then chances are bleek but if you get it right 2 out of 10 then you have a very good chance. please do not do things of which the consequence you can predict. like hitting your your sibling and predicting your mother is going to take you to task.

I had predicted tsunami tragedy 5 days before it happened but could not say what it was or where it will happen, I predicted that there is going to be an international tragedy and it could be war, hurricane, floods, industrial tragedy but could not say it would be tsunami. I have been trying to perfect my 6th sense for the last 2yrs with good sucess.

Yes, I do. I can sense things about people. I can usually guess what people are going to say or do, but mostly its intuitions, just when I can do it now and then when meeting a person for thefirst time that I wouldconsider it a sixth sense

Yep, I have a sense of humor. It sure comes in handy so I can laugh at statements like this:

"Scientific studies show that almost everyone has some level of ESP"

I think, believe and expect that my divine eternal soul guides my mind and is in continuous spiritual communion with our divine eternal spirit. Maybe I am right about the myth that my divine eternal essence of finite self guides my mind and is in continuous spiritual communion with our divine eternal essence of infinite world. Maybe if my extreme myths are true then the fact that I think, believe and expect these extreme myths are true could significantly boost my ability to make use of continuous spiritual communion. Maybe boosting my ability to make use of continuous spiritual communion between my soul and our spirit by believing this myth to be true will help me further develop my psychic powers.

I teach by example. Apply the above to yourself.

I wouldn't call it ESP, but i am very sensitive other people's emotions. I can feel how they feel sometimes. It really comes in handy when my friends are going through a rough time, i can always tell when they need to talk. <><
