CAlm dowm- you are probably seeing red scar tissue not a blister or wound. Just to be safe get some neoporin or quivenlt antibotic cream and place this on your finger and turn the puppy over and cover the red area witha liberal amount. If possible cover with a band aid to keep the puppy from licking the spot. If it is a wound you don't want him to lick it at all, this tends to make it worse. Check the spot every 6 hours and change bandage. If after 24 hours you see no improvement at all you can continue for another 24 hours, If however it gets larger or loos worse call your vet asap most have 24 hr answering service and expect emergency calls whenever and whereever. Worse case is an infection and the vet will give you a script for some anitbiotics. He should be just fine in a few days.

First off--call the vet and tell them that it is an emergency to have the dog brought in ASAP. 2nd, you can put TEA TREE OIL on the blister, and that should help a little until vet checks it out. Sometimes the stitches are too tight and that's what the blister could be from. My pup got spayed 2 months ago and her stitches healed up perfectly. Justmake sure your pup isn't jumping around and running up and down steps too much--this could have caused the blister as well-you're in my prayers--everything will be fine!

This happened to my cat when she had stitches before. It just needs to be drained (you will have to go to the vet for this) and then your puppy will probably have to go on an antibiotic. I would call your vet tomorrow and see if you can set up an emergency session. Good luck!!

Phone the vet and ask his advice. Even if you can't get there, he can tell you what you should do in the meantime.

Like the first person said, put something on it for tonight and have her checked tomorrow. It is probably not too bad.
