First, if s/he's vomiting, withhold food. S/he should have access to water, but if drinking excessively, put fill the bowl 3/4 ice cubes and half water so it slows him/her down a bit.
Yes, Pepto Bismal is fine, but if it continues more than 24 hours, see your vet. S/he may have ingested something she shouldn't have.

Shar peis are small canines- so a mix between those breeds might maximum in all likelihood produce a puppy that grow to be plenty smaller than an entire grown Akita. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that- finding at those photos- there isn't any way that that's what your dogs is! The face is only too long (Shar Peis have an incredibly around, chunky head, and so do Akitas) for starters- and he or she has not one of the mass i might anticipate with a mix of the two of those breeds. I dont think of she is a element Akita or Shar Pei, myself. i think of youre plenty closer on the mark- including your techniques that she must be Shepherd, Norwegian Elkhound type dogs. possibly even Belgian Malanois x.

Believe it or not, I've given my miniature poodle a Tums tablet or let her lick from a spoon with a little bit of Pepto Bismal liquid on it. Worked FABULOUS. Sometimes they need just a little "nudge" to get better!

Pepto Bismol is OK to give dogs, I checked with my vet.
It will calm their stomach and help with the diarhrea.
Try 1/2 tsp first, then another if he needs it.

My friend used to give her dog pepto bismal, it's cheap and won't hurt the dog and they love the sweet taste. Go by the dogs weight for doseage. It used to help her dog everytime he got into the garbage.

Well..I have to ask...did you recently change the food? My Dane had a lot of trouble when I changed her food. The food was just really greasy and she got diarrhea a lot from it. Every time one of my animals has stomach/diarrhea problems my vet always had me give them plain yogurt with the active bacteria in it...always seems to cure her problems.

Nothing, it'll pass in about a day. Sometimes special treatment can be the worst, just because it's getting them off track. Just continue to feed and give water regularly. Routine is best.

You can give it some pepto bismol. Give the dose for a child his size. If not better tomorrow I would take to the vet.

first off...is it under any stress/ moving ...new relationships these can all lead to irratable bowls in a dog. i suggest you put your pet on a strick dry food diet for a couple of days and if it doesn't improve or gets worse go to a vet asap.
