What i mean is that when u are at school, would u sacrifice ur academic to seek out a romance relationship? I am asking this because I felt that sometimes a relationship can hurt ur academic life in a somewhat negative way.

Yes hun it can sacrifice your academic results but hey i tell you i was in your shoe and you are normale because its not nice to spend most of the time by yourself in the university because it feels odd and different. so to fit in you need to find a bf and spend time with and have lunch with and giggle with him ... that way you will do better academically and psychologically.

I'm speaking from experience. so find yourself a decent bf and have fun with in college or university.

good luck in the future but if you like to chit chat you can drop me a line at my screen name funride2005

take care of yourself ... :)

at this point, i'm in high school and i know that any relationship i develop now isn't going end in marriage or anything so i know i should be focusing on studies because that definitely will affect the rest of my life. however, although that's what i might think, it's really difficult not to think about relationships and to just get sidetracked and distracted because you feel like you need a break from all the stress and it's a way to release that stress and think about something that will keep you energized and happy through your day. it's bad in the sense that it detracts from what's really important but it's good in the sense that it gives you something to look forward to.

I feel that you can do both, if both commit to school and help each other out. It should be a positive experience. If he/she does not want to commit for school, then you should put school first.
