Alright, Friday night I drank way too much and got drunk for the first time. I'm 140 lbs and drank four martinis and one tequila shot. (yeah, I know...) I did not get sick or pass out and I can remember the entire night but I still feel slightly hung over (it's Sunday night). Is this normal? How long before I feel completely better again? I won't be doing this for quite a while...

all these people need more practice with their alcohol. you are still ill because you MIXED the drinks. had you stuck with just the martinis, you would prob have been fine after the first day. since you had that tequila shot however, youre body can't absorb it the same way as the martini.it could also be from just the tequila too. i cannot drink tequila, it makes me wicked ill- even just one shot'll make me hurl. in the future, try to stick with one kind of booze, like rum, rye or my fav vodka. they are easily mixed into plenty of different kinds of drinks so you won't get bored drinking the same drink all night and they make nice shots-very smooth. if you don't like hard liquor, try malibu. it's coconutty and mixes great with sprite and/ or orange juice.
as for your hang over, try taking small sips of water and eating square SALTED crackers(not veggie or anything they taste nasty if you puke) or a piece of bread. stay away from milk!!!
happy hangover!

Normally hang over last for about 3 to 4 hours. The best thing is, to take a paracetamol after waking up sensing that you have hang-over and drink plenty of liquids including a can of beer. It will ease your feeling.

Hmmm - not sure that you would still have a hangover. Maybe you are a bit dehydrated? Drink a lot of water and get a good nights sleep and if it is a "hangover" you should be better.

Are you sure you are coming down with a flu/cold or something?

Drink plenty of fluids especailly orange juice as alcohol diminishes Vitaman C reserves.

Also, the next time you drink too much, go ahead an make yoursellf puke and then drink plenty of OJ. You will not even get a hang-over or maybe just a little one.

I had about six bloody marys three purple penises and a mind eraser. I didn't get sick or pass out, and no hangover either. A rather boring night.
Now, a straight tequila night, that takes me about three days to recover, and i have no recollection of anything that goes on.

just a question did you keep a close eye on your drink all night? hangovers shouldn't last that long. and its odd that you don't remember anything. you may want to make sure no one slipped you anything..... generally hang overs don't really last that long. if you are a lightweight (no offense) it takes less alcohol to get drunk and less time to get over hang overs. but you have to remember to rehydrate yourself. a hang over is pretty much just being dehydrated. water works great and so does gatorade.

about 1 hour per drink after you wake up. since this was your first time and still feel queasy, you may have slight alcohol poisoning. drink water and eat vegeatable soup, it helps the recovery of a hangover. but alcohol posioning can kill, do not overindulge, if you choose to drink, eat some food and/or drink 1 glass of water after each alcohol drink

no it's not normal... usually it comes from being dehydrated... which is why you should drink a large glass of water before you go to bed aftr a drinking binge. You will wake up with no hangover.. you are still probably slight dehydrated..... try drinking some water
