Why have you never met him? I think the biggest question you have to ask yourself is "do I wan't to meet him?" If you don't think you can handle it then give it more time. I don't have a clue what the situation is but I would say that if you are going into this mad at him I would put it off until you are older and more mature and able to handle it. There is just to much missing info. Different scenarios would lead to different answers. Go with what your heart says. Pray about it.

Well, I know that not seeing your dad has an effect on you and your life, every one needs to see her dad next to her and taking care of her. If I were you I would try my best to contact him or see him and to know his reasons because no one hate his daughter or son so you have to try your best but if you failed to see him and he does not want to be your dad and that is impossible, at least you tried and I hope that the love of your kind mom and your friends will compensate your dad`s love.

Give him a chance and he may surprise you. Take a friend if you feel unsafe. Meet in a public place.
