Christian or Atheists or any other religion, then why get so upset as to rant about your beliefs to those who ask some of the questions they ask here on this forum?

Religions find new converts by preaching. Preaching involves giving information to people who don't know your religion.
That has been the format by which all religions spread. So people will still stick to preaching even when no one is listening. Although, I guess, this is mindset is not confined to religion. If you believe strongly in something, you will try to bring others to your way of thought.
The concept of agreeing to disagree is a realtively new concept in the history of human civilisation, and is a result of the globalization that the information technology has brought in.

I don't rant about my religion, its my own beleifs.
I rant about -other- religious beleifs. and by rant I mean I sit, weigh up answers from personal knowledge or experience, and post them.
or try to give a serious ansswer, at least.

i admit i rant but what bothers me is ignorance i will rant if you post something that shows ignorance. i believe if you are going to say something dumb i have the right to point out your errors. i know i make errors too and i have no problem with people telling me i am wrong.

You make a very good point. Though religion, for me anyway, is part of who we are and something that you keep internally, I feel as though you defend what you are most passionate about.
