Isn't gluttony a sin? If 75 percent of this country is of the Christian persuasion, how do they reconile that within themselves. No doubt they are fruitful and multiply. Great. A whole new batch in the offing. Sorry if this sounds a lillte testy, but I am somewhat saddend by the hypocrisy.

P.S. I don't "hate" fat people, I'm just making an observation.

Gluttony is one of the "seven deadly sins". But, that is a list that was made well after Biblical times by humans...it's not in the Bible.

Beyond that, are all these people really gluttons? Does gluttony only relate to food? Isn't consumption of any kind really gluttony?

keep eating weeds and mind your own business. Does it really matter in your own life if people are overweight? Worry about the ozone layer, worry about the war, worry about, hell, your own life. if you hate fat people, don't become one. Case closed!

Just so you know, I am very athletic but that is my choice, I don't go around preaching to others that they are gluttonous! Get a life!

Are you really expecting God to personally answer this question? I'm a Christian American and I'm not overweight.
