I know they have greatly upped security at airports where you can't bring any liquids on and you have to check it all. But why couldn't someone put a bottle of something in their pocket or where baggy clothes and put it somewhere in their clothes? The metal detectors won't detect it. And they don't pat down everyone, so what are they doing to prevent this from happening? Just curious because I was thinking about it.

That's interesting my friend flew from Ontario (near LA) to Seattle and back after this all happened and I asked her and she didn't get patted down. So I was curious if people could get away with it.

Not planning on trying this for whoever said that it would be a dangerous prank, lol. I was asking because I was wondering if they were doing something to stop this since it common sense that a terrorist might think to do. And how would other passengers know? It's in your clothes.

I hadn't heard about detectors being able to detect liquid, that would definitely solve the problem.

Funny you say that because I'm a very frequent flyer. Usually up and down CA, WA, or OR. I have not been padded down once at the airport, NEVER. Whenever they had to bring me to the side because I would keep getting detected they would use a handheld scanner thing, and then I got through fine. And as I said my friend flew the day after this started and she said she didn't get patted down nor did she see anyone else getting patted down. Don't make assumptions about me with no evidence or knowledge.

you might get away with it.

but, please remember, that all the other airline passengers are going to notice real fast that
1) you didn't follow the rules like they did
2) you might have something dangerous
3) a lot of nervous people scared of you on a plane is not good for your health or safety.

in other words, you could get badly beaten or killed for trying that "prank."

I just flew back in from Mexico last night. Right now they are patting Everyone down just as you go through the gate to board the planes. Even after the normal security check point. We had to take off shoes, remove belts, remove All jewlery (except wedding rings) all electronics had to be powered on. Pat down, and hand held metal detectors were in use. It was a pain, flight was late. But we got there in one piece.

You really believe in these lies! These are "Attention Deviation Tactics". As Israel is involved in massiave killings of Christains and Muslms in Lebanon with the help of its ally so called Hezbollah (An American Wrestling Match is going on. Hezbollah's role is that it makes Israel appear innocent despite enormous carnage), so world's focus must be shifted. So now you have this liquid drama. Please read my letter to Washington Times it will provide you further hints.

Subject: Dog Cartoon in Washington Times

Dear Editor: Peace be upon you.

The cartoon of dg depicting Pakistan has hurt millions of Pakistanis. Although your message is correct and very vivid. But the dog should have a label of "Musharraf" rather than Pakistan. It is an open secret that CIA had brought Musharraf in power and it is retaining him in power. Overwhelming Pakistanis hate Musharraf from their guts. Both Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz do not enjoy the respect of even a dirty pig in Pakistan. The arrest of so called Al-Qaeedah person is also a drama. We believe that Al-Qaeedah is also a CIA/FBI/Moosad creation. Quran condemns "Qaideen" (Those who keep sitting and do not actively participate in real Jihad) It says that in Allah's sight Mujahideen are far superior to Qaideen so how come a so called Jihadi organization would keep its name which is anti-Jihad term. The arrest of this person seems to be a final adrenalin injection given to boost Tony Bair's prospects in the elections. The announcement came only 48 hours before polling. A similar r phenomenon occurred when there was massive public retaliation and condemnation of Bush in London. On the same very day bomb blasts occurred in UK consulate in Turkey so next day there were news and photos of this bomb blasts and all news against Bush went into inside pages.

I request you to redraw the cartoon with the name of Musharraf rather than Pakistan to be fair. If you like you can make a similar cartoon where dog can be Bush and soldier can be Sharon saying after Afghanistan go after Iraq.

With Best Regards,
Sincerely yours,
So message is don't get scared! It is all Mupet Show!

Reason for the security is because of terrorist attacks in European and U.S. soil. Since 911 and recent attempts to attack. The national security is at critical and airports can allow a cavity search if someone is found suspicious. Some metal detectors are build to monitor the liquids. Hopw this helps you.
