I think it sounds a bit insulting to call it a mental hospital...isn't there a more politically correct name to call it?

I think mental hospital sounds fine. Sounds better than the Crazy Ward or to the Nut House.

They have to have some sort of a name like that for people to find the place.Usualy those are government run,but private ones are sometimes a bit more discreet--we have one here in Perth west aust called Perth clinic.Theres no shame anymore involving mental health,it ranges from people who are experiencing a slight breakdown due to perhaps a death or a divorce-to much more serious.

The very first mental hospital was called the Public hospital of insane and disordered minds. It was founded in 1773 and treated people for such things as masturbation, womb disease and religous fervor !!! So....we dont have it so bad ..lol. But seriously, how about calling it an inpatient therapy facility ???

How about just "treatment facility" or just "hospital"? Is there a reason you need to be so specific when describing it? If there's a reason you do, I think "psychiatric hospital" sounds better than "mental hospital", personally.

Being politically correct is bullshit. You're saying the same damn thing, you may as well say the proper term.
Though for the most part mental problems are bullshit when it comes to things like ADD, it's just a different way of thinking and acting.

i desire she is BLESSED with a baby with DS sometime. Then she will be in a position to work out that they don't seem undesirable, wretched little beings who conflict through, yet particularly chuffed, loving those who're able to so a lot more effective than ignorant human beings supply them credit for. If no longer, i desire she famous herself unable to take care of herself and has human beings "imagine badly of her" so as that she will be in a position to appreciate the way it feels.
