why are girls so excited to have a guy cook for them? Would you still be excited if the guy made the effort but the food does not taste that great? e.g. cooking pasta is just throwing some premade pasta from a box into some boiling water; or is it much more?

okay, first of all, it is hot to see a guy cooking and then secondly, he is taking care of his lady in a way that is unexpected and sweet. and the effort means so much more than the results.

Good question. Girls find that sweet and hot in some cases. For instance, a guy cooking naked. Some girls find this a turn on. I'm planning to cook for my lady sometime this month or the next. I can only hope she'll enjoy it. I think that the tought counts the most. If it didn't come out the way you had expected, at least she'll know that you made an effort. If she judges you on it, tell her that she should appreciate it that she has a boyfriend that made a effort to cook for her lady. You know there are actually some girls out there that will appreciate this. If you are planning to do it, I wish you my best. I'm sure she will appreciate your cooking and thought Good Luck, dude!

Why? Hmmm .. good question.. (tries to think of something someone around here hasn't said yet) cuz it's cute? =D . [hahaha] Well, I think it'd be really nice, sweet, and just overall cool if a guy did that (if he didn't know how already or haven't ever cooked before). And yes, I would still be excited as long as the guy made some effort. If it ends up tasting horrible, then I'd applaud him for his efforts, and suggest throwing it away and making a new batch--but this time I'd help. So then we'd end up cooking together. =) . Waaahhh.. that sounds like so much fun (food fight! .. but it'd be a pain to clean). Gosh, just the thought of it makes me bubbly & hyped. [hehe] Imagine that. [shrugs]

Yeah, even if it's bad. At least the guy took the time and made the effort. It's very thoughtful, not like picking up half-dead flowers from 7-11 as a last minute thought.

Women like it when a guy cooks for them. It is very romantic and thoughtful. If you cook it properly then you are in like Flynn. She will like it even if the food is not that great, at least you put some love in it.

I know that I love it because it shows that the guy would maybe make a good husband. Being able to cook is very...domestic. A guy that can play with little kids and cook a good meal...hot hot hot!

Because it shows that that man is thinking outside the normal gender roles for males. Most women like that the man will do sommething thoughtful, which that is. For me, it's a turn on to see a man working that hard to impress a girl, even if it's something simple to make.

LOL. Thats funny cause its true. But if it tasted bad, id be like ewe, dont ever cook agaon. But my hubby can cook his butt off! I cant cook worth nothing. I made a meat loaf and me or the cat wouldnt eat it but ny husband must have felt bad cause he was eating it and like , oh hun this is GREAT! im like , yeah right....

We adult men love foodstuff in simple terms as much as intercourse. by using fact you fed him foodstuff and now it rather is his turn to feed you a number of his "love foodstuff" or provide you himself on your dessert"....LOL hiya, i'm getting so hungry in simple terms observing Racheal Ray cook dinner on television so I completely understand the place your guy's coming from.
