i don't know why i feel this way but maybe some of my friends as older brother they like really care about their other siblings and also be more responsible when it comes to times not to mention "really " protective.....and for somewat reason i just really want an older brother maybe cuz i'm the oldest in the family with a lousy and pathetic younger brother....all he does is get me into trouble make me mad..but like he never does anything for me but i do for him....(like helping hime when he needs help....) and i espectially have 3 older brother in mind...one is very protective...his sis even thinks he's very protective at times...and the other one seems to dislike his sis...really much better actually deep inside really care(i actually asked him that myself) like if there was only one lunch he'd give it to his sis...and when i like try to diss him...cuz he still says infront of everyone how his sis is so annoying and stuff..i'd ask him why'd he give to food to her..

and people please don't tell me to get a life or something i'm not wining it's just that i've argued wit my younger 10 year old brother for like da 16th time of the day...and i was just curious why younger and older brothers are so different like in personality...

Older brother tend be given responsibilities at a younger age and younger brothers tend to be molly coddled...
I find relationships with men who are older brothers tend to work better for me than with men who are younger brothers..

I dont know if older brothers are always so much more better than little brothers, I have a little brother, and while he doesnt always help me out, and can sometimes be very annoying, I would never let anything happen to him. Also, since I know how much he looks up to me, it makes me think a lot harder about all the decisions I make, making me a better person. So maybe it is because of the younger brother/sibing that the older brother always seems to be better. Just my two cents.

Because they can't be you. too little, too young, too small, not old enough. They see you as more than you can see you being. You get to do everything first and if you screw up they pay the penalty. Besides they will be treated like a baby by everyone forever. They get away with more cause no one thinks they could be more or do better, they're the baby. It sucks to be the baby,tag a long,and everywhere you go everyone knows the only reason you are there is cause mommy made big brother spend time with the baby.

I have an older brother and i would argue this matter. I wish my brother was younger than me. But i guess it is a point of view. When you get older you might just like having that little **** around. They will surprise you sometimes.

i always wanted an older brother but no luck i got the younger one who was a little shi_ growing up but as we got older it got easier and we became very close. give it time he need to get into high school first so what? another 5 years hang in there sister

Thats a good question I think that bigger brotherss are more independent and they dont have time to bother you or anything they mostly think about girls so that is the reason I think older brothers are so much better than younger brothers

Not is that ones are better than others, just are different. the first Born's are more responsible and perfectionist. have advantages and disadvantages.

Older brothers are better than younger brothers because they are mature and know that their little sisters' are growing up so they want to be protective with them. Unlike little brothers, they don't know how much you do for them. They like to bug, it's just what they do. When your little brother gets older he'll be different, don't worry. I guarantee it. :)

I have two younger brothers and no older brothers. I have to say that younger brothers are much better! I wouldn't trade them for anyone!

not all brothers are like that... younger or older...
maybe that's how you see them because that is what you want to see or the other way around...
you should try to understand your sibling...
yes I know it's hard, especially when they keep on getting you in trouble...
maybe you should try to learn more about your 10yr old brother...
try to know him more...
try to see beyond his actions towards you...
hope you'll be able to have a great sibling relationship with your younger brother...
