What brought you to that path? Do you study your religion often? What do you like most about it? Just curious! ^-^ Please refrain from answering that yours is the only true one, or that God is the only one to worship. Thanks.

It seems that, again, people didn't answer another one of my questions before reading it properly

Valerie: "he knows best doesn't he"? Completely out of context to this question.

Seethelight: "jesus is the perfect one", your opinion, not what I was asking. And in part is what I didn't want to have answered.

My religion? These 5 simple rules for happy living:
1. Free your heart from hatred
2. Free your mind from worries
3. Live simply
4. Give more
5. Expect less
Only if EVERYONE on this earth abides by them RELIGIOUSLY, what a wonderful world it will be :-)

I am a Christian and have been one for a little over a month now. Because I am a new believer I try to read The Bible as often as possible, usually at least a little bit every day.

The story of my conversion: I had been atheist/agnostic for almost all my life until I started to explore my own religion and spirituality. My best friend who was a Christian told me about God and Jesus, and as time went on I realized how much I needed God in my life. So a few weeks later I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I am a Christian and a proud one at that. I believe in Christianity because it was how I was brought up. I like believing in Jesus and knowing that I am going to end up in Heaven someday. If I'm wrong and there is no God (which I don't believe) like some people think, then I guess I won't know because I just won't exist anymore. But if there is a God and a Heaven wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry and then find out that there really IS a God when you're looking up at Him from Hell?

This is a really hard question for me for I do not truly categorize myself in any set religion. I was raised Southern Baptist, but after much research I found that many of the things I was taught were not things that I agreed with. I do believe in Christ, God, the bible, and the holy spirit, but I read the bible instead of just allowing someone to preach to me. What i like most about my way of thinking is that it allows me to form my own opinions. I am tolerant of ALL religions and believe that everyone should be allowed to live as they see fit. I do not set people into groups, and I do not believe in stereotyping.

I was born to a family of Lutheran father and Orthodow mother. I believed...I was a Christian.
Then I kind of walked away from that. I am so happy that I found this non-denominatioal Christians church which keeps the Bible as the center of the teaching and they lead us to a life changing connection wit God. We believe that Jesus Christ is a Son of the living God, our Lord and Savior.
I do not even like the word religion. Jesus came to the earth to free us from religions. He wanted us to have a life saving relationship with God. We get saved by the mercy and grace of God...not because we are perfect. Jesus is the perfect one.
So, I am a Christian and I believe in Jesus.

I was born into Roman Catholicism. What I most like about my religion is that it allows it's followers to have a personal relationship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I feel that I know God so much better by learning about Jesus' teachings in the Gospels. the greatest aspect of christianity, is that Jesus came and died/resurrected for our sins so we could be forgiven and enter heaven.

I consider myself a Christian but do not follow any one denomination. I was born into a Christian family that was Catholic/Lutheran and when I was a teen, knew the Catholic church wasn't for me. I redediated years ago, read the Bible, watch tele-preachers, go to church, read spiritual (Christian based) books and pray a lot.

I like that God is real, I have a relationship with Him and He guides me. That is very powerful. I know I have a purpose. He has been very good to me. He isn't some entity up in the clouds. He is real.

I am a Hindu. I was not born a Hindu, but came to it on my own after many years of study of various religions. I just found it to be a never-ending source of wisdom and I could never get enough of it's deep teachings. I like a lot about it of course, but mostly I like that it recognizes that everyone is different and that all can approach God in their own way.

Originally my parents. But my beliefs have refined to a less complicated way of faith. Love everyone that you are given the oppertunity to. People are basically the same except for there 1 major difference. "BELIEFS"
If the only reason 2 people get along is because they believe the same, then the world would be almost totally void of true friends. Not everyone believes the same but everyone needs someone. Thanks for the question.

None. As a child, I found the bible to be too full of errors to believe in. I have looked at other religions since, but have found none that were free of errors, and if there is one thing that a religion absolutely must be in order to even be considered to be valid, it must be error-free. So, I do science instead, where, if a theory turns out to be wrong, I can fix it and go on about my business.
