Obviously you are motivated and I would recommend a good, healthy 3-meal a day with light snacks in between so you don't get hungry. Concentrate on pouldry, fish & eggs for your protein; and cut out any processed or fast foods. Fresh fruits and veggies, no canned stuff or soda. Look up "Exchange Diet" on line and it will give you a list of different categories according to calorie intake. You might want to start at trying 1400 calories and incorporate at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, walking is best, into your daily routine at least 3 X a week. You don't have to do it all at once; you can chop it up into 3, 10 min. walking sessions. In a month, you can step it up to 45 minutes.
You have to reduce/burn off 3500 calories for every pound you lose and I don't think 2 lbs. a week is unreasonable. Just be informed about your portion sizes and stay away from the junk. If I were you, I'd talk to the nutritionist at school, or ask your counselor to make you an appointment to explain portion sizes to you. Good Luck! you sound like a pretty smart cookie!!! (oh..no cookies!)

Well, it is easy to lose 2 pounds a week but before I give you an example, I think you should be working on your mindset first.
I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy.
You see, we are what we are today because of our past... our past actions.. these actions are decided by our decisions in what to eat and whether to exercise lead and they lead us to having this figure today..
These decisions come from your mindsets.
Now, suppose I do teach you how to lose the weight and you do lose it.. but if your mindsets and decisions are the same.. and so your actions are the same. So you would continue to eat as you did, sleep as you did and ta da!
After three months, you probably will not maintian your weight loss but instead go back to square one.. dun you agree? ;)
So it is impt to get your mindsets right first.
Before you start any weight loss program, here are some questions you might like to think about to prepare your mindset for weight loss:
1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.
2) Why do I want to achieve this goal? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)
3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years?
6) Then when do I want to take action?
Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinners
If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class...
PS: INline skating is great for weight loss, toning up and SHAPING your body!

firstly, you need to exercise at least 30 minutes 5 days a week then progress to 60-90 minutes 5 days a week. your routine should start with some sort of cardio work out such as walking, swimming, rollerblading, dancing, running(not jogging), and weight training/resistance work including a light pair of weights (3lbs) to begin with. after a month, increase your time and reps. always exercise. it will help increase your metabolism as will eating more often. 3 meals and 3 moderate snacks a day...about 1500-1700 calories to lose weight and 2000-2200 calories to maintain weight. make sure to drink plenty of water and green tea. nourish your body with high fiber, brightly colored fruits, vegies, berries, soy nuts, soy milk, soy crisps, lean proteins such as chicken, fish, beans, lean ham and turkey, nuts, and lowfat/nonfat dairy products and high fiber, whole grain, whole wheat pastas, cereals, oatmeal, popcorn, crackers/chips. you should never feel deprived; the secret is moderation. if you crave a treat, eat one serving and make sure to exercise. don't beat yourself up. you are trying to get healthy and that is a good thing. good luck. if you need examples of meals or snacks, you can email me at this id.
