If your religon is all about peace (as I was told in my last Question) why are their so many people killed in bombs and attacks in the name of Allah? How can so many people get it so wrong?

people use God and Religion as a means to hate and
feel justified in doing so.

I am not Muslim, but what I have to say I hope is valuable.
Like all religions, people can rationalize violence. It is not just Islam. The Christians, for example, had the Crusades. The reasoning was they were saving the Muslims from an eternity in hell by converting them. The first commandment is "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me." The Muslims did not worship the same god, and were therefore converted or killed.
I could list countless other conflicts started by people under the flag of their religion other than Muslims. There are still conflicts today not involving Muslims, but the ones that get the most time on CNN are the Islamic conflicts because they have special importance due to recent events.

Sorry, I'm not a Muslim but what I think about the bombings is that, those people chose to see their religion that way and may be influenced by ideas of martyrdom and what have you. Someone also mentioned the Crusades and in the Crusades Christians were not told to do so, they themselves felt it was the right way to go about things. So Islam may be about peace and do remember that that people carrying out bombings do not constitute the whole Muslim population.

How about so many Christian extremists who support Israel causing massive slaughter of innocent people in the name of democracy/security. I don't think it is a good idea to create more hate by aiding terrorist Israel government. I think that creates more terrorism and lesser security in the world. Why is Bush (evangelical Christian) number #1 threat to world peace? Why is Israel number #1 threat to world peace according to major polls in 1994 beating north Korea. Just ask who has the power and who has the technology. Who is really terrorizing?

the 9/11 tragedy is not the muslims fault..its revealed on the newspaper by the researchers @ the csi members...

When they do anything, they will want to push the blame to the religion as they are not the truly worshippers.
they had misinterpret the meaning in the text, Since the text was written long time ago and no one is able to correct it.
Just like what happen to the Davinci code, in a way it is a way to earn $$.
For them they can get international fund for foods after the so called "war"

Islam is the religion of truth. means peace with those who are peaceful with it, and harsh on those who give it hard time. people get it so wrong because the country is in a war, and war creates death to innocent people. and war creates Hate, Anger, revenge. with life pressure, corruption, depression, no hope, and Fear anything can be done by any excuse.
there is strong verse in the Quran that says that killing an innocent soul with no right it's like killing all humanity.
but to be fair. you need to talk about the killing done by non-Muslims against Muslims. and come up with all the excuses to do it to the limit that people in the west will accept it.

I think in the recently age, people lost their humanity,people became selfish,because our present people living in the instant age,everything hurry,they lost the meaning of live and love, therefore if somebody or some community offering the love,and care,event in religion community.You know what issue is easy to collect the mash in the recent time to fight different politic? yes, the answer is religion.
