It's hard to tell. There's no such thing as the best looking hairstyle or hair color. Everybody is different. What looks good on you, might look terrible on someone else.
I assume you have long hair, which is why keeping it long is still an option. Long hair is easier to "shine", that means, it looks good on most women. However, only certain people are able to make short hair look real good.
Many men believe long hair is more attractive for a woman, as long as it's healthy.
Brunette or blonde? In my opinion, keep your natural hair color... nothing better than that. If you are looking for a change, try highlights (for example, light brown highlights on dark brown or black hair).

DO NOT GO BLONDE we have enough fakes out there not to be rude or anything but brown is in and i think about to the bottom of your bra strap for your bottom layer then 2 more about an inch apart

Well, I kinda prefer brunette.. and not so short also not too long.. maybe a little over your shoulder would be good, but it's all up to you, then..

I like a darker brownish color-long like up to the end of your bra strap,with layers at the bottom and top which are totally visible...
BTW I'm getting a haircut too and i think thats what I'm gonna get

well brown seems to be the in colour right now expecially dark brown, i would'nt dye it blonde, and long hair is really pretty
