We have a public transit system here. Oh, I thought you had a have a BMW to be a resident here.

In other words, you're pretty much stuck if you dont have your own car.

Sad, but true.

Slow, inefficient, and infrequent... like in the rest of Southern California. There are buses and commuter Metrolink trains in Orange County, but they're a joke. The trains run like three times a DAY, making only a few stops between Anaheim and L.A. The buses run a dismal 30 minutes to an hour apart, so expect to do a lot of waiting. You'll need a car if you want to do anything fast.

Horrible! Southern California is known for driving, not public transport. It's not impossible, there are busses and the Metro, but those are mostly used for people that cannot afford the gas to sit on the freeway for work. There is also the Amtrak for bigger trips, like to San Diego or Santa Barbara, btu I wouldn't recommend it to go to LA, since you will need a car (or a ride) when you get there anyway.

Orange County basically doesn't believe in public anything, so it sucks.
