Hi there, you’re doing just fine, so stop putting yourself down. There’s plenty of help around, although you may never be fully cured, help is never far away. I hope the following helps ease your pain a little.

Religion is a serious mental illnesses. It’s the inability to face the reality of life and the finality of death. It affects 85% of the USA and 75% of US victims are Christians. The more pathetic and desperate a persons life, the more likely they are to believe in a god. People with otherwise empty lives, are the strongest believers. It gives them false hope that there’s a higher meaning to their sad and pathetic lives.

Religious people are dangerous. They cannot think for themselves, but instead cling to every word the bible says. Religious fanatics can somehow throw out all scientific evidence and replace it with the word of one book that has no credibility.

Recognising religion as a type of mental illness would be a good start to help cure this disease. We should develop support groups along the lines of Alcoholics Anonymous - “My name is Sam and I’m a recovering Christian ...”

Religious believers are not really recognised as being intelligent. My studies and research shows that religious people are not exactly rocket scientists, they tend to be below average intelligence, and also have a tendency to be more violent than non-believers. In some cases, the more violent the person, the more religious they are. I suspect that the vast majority of religious people are well below average intelligence.

I wonder if trying to improve the intellectual standard of our global community would help remove the various religions from our culture, and thereby improve happiness and peace for humanity.

We need smart kids, not dumb violent children who believe in a God. It’s a statistical fact that the higher your education, income, and intelligence, the more likely you are not to believe in a god. For every college student that converts to a religious belief system, 17 college students convert to atheist beliefs.

Atheists have an average intelligence of 25 IQ points above their Christian counterparts. It’s no wonder why the USA (75% Christian) is so arrogant, aggressive or violent towards others in this world.

80% of the world’s population is religious.
80% of the world’s violence and wars are caused by religion.
80% of religious people are of below average intelligence.

There are numerous examples of the above, but such statistics are ignored or more importantly, deliberately concealed by religious groups.

Religious believers are truly blessed with a very special gift. The violent troubles around our world are clearly associated with various religious factions. Scientists have published details about the “warrior” gene and the “spiritual or religious” gene which shows that certain people are genetically predisposed to violence and/or religion. Scientists have also published that religion could be the result of mental illness. This makes sound sense in our deeply troubled world.

It’s also a well known fact that intellectually handicapped people are often quoted as being the happiest people in the world. They are so blissfully unaware of the true world around them, and see and believe reality to be quite different in their mental worlds.

I think religious people are blessed with a similar “handicapped” gift which would explain why they see and believe in the imaginary world of religion, God and the Bible. I think religious people are also blissfully unaware of reality in their mentally handicapped world. This could help, explain their irrational behaviour.

I think you're doing just fine, and you're a perfect example of your mythology cult. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you.

Ok........ If your point here today was to show people the miracle of Christ......I think your failing. The truth is that with your "proof" you are just proving to people that religious people are stereotypes.....which are never good. I'm glad that you found someone but I wish you would not drag Christ into this situation. When you state that Christ is the reason that the two of you are together, then you are setting yourself up for failure in a relationship as well as in your religion. I've always heard that everything happens for a reason, but that reason doesn't always have to be that way. Some times things happen for no reason at all. Anyways i will quit talking. All I ask is that if you are truly a christian, you should question whether these insights of yours are helping or hindering the faith in Christ?

First off, learn to spell. There's even a spell check feature, built right into Yahoo Answers!
Second, I still don't believe in the "miracel of Jesus". It would take a lot more than a chance meeting of two people on the Internet for that to happen. Do you know the odds of two people meeting on the internet? Do you know how many people are on the internet? Believe me, the odds are high that you'd meet someone like yourself eventually. I read her Q&A. If that's the one you want, then good for you!
Have a spectacular day, and thanks for letting me voice my opinions.

No.

This the same christian_wondergirl who is a single mother with four children and has legal questions because the youngest was sired by an anonymous guy she met a pub a year ago. You just met her online and now you think you are in love with her.

Doesn't even come close to my definition of a miracle.
It does however meet my definition of a train wreck.

Not at all. The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Was on 60 minutes tonight. He ""peacefully"" proclaimed that bad will happen to those that don't accept his version of good. I am very very worried. So many Americans are not following the news. Iran is enriching Uranium, soon we may not be here! Including your precious girl...

God blessed you for your witness for Him. You are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. You will need to keep close to God because of the children. Well 7 is the number of perfection so maybe this is truly God's time for you. Keep the joy and don't let the skeptics get to you.
Keep on keeping on.
