It's not just touching up the roots, but the entire head of hair. Will it cause damage to keep dyeing it all over?

you really don't want to dye it all over every time because it can cause the hair near the ends to become more damaged , it is older. as well as it can over color the ends if you go darker. If you must color all over do the roots for the first 20 min then work the color through the rest of the hair you can add a little water to whats left before you put it on then you can process the rest of the time, it helps to freshen up the color near the ends.

Yes it will damage your hair and it will look awful. Like fake hair if you keep dyeing it. In fact, what you need to do when you recolor is to put a thick gobby conditioners on your hair (Like cholesterol) before you even do your roots. and don't run it through your hair like they suggest. Put the conditioner on, do the roots and the wash.

If that's you in the avatar... wait at least 15 years or so. LOL

But in all seriousness, you should only dye the roots. I use to dye my hair all over and it almost fell out.

I dont think you should ever dye your hair. It can ruin healthy hair.

You need to get it done at a salon don't use that box crap.... and sometimes it makes your hair fuller... I have really thin and oily hair and when I get mine done... my hair is fuller and less greasy... But you should usually get it done every 3 months...Don't be afraid...
