i have had it for 2 days now, i have an appointment on tuesday for the group b strep test, do i call monday and give the doctor a heads up about my boil before i take the test on just wait it out until tuesday

by the way i am married and because i'm pregnant i have just recently gotten my second set of test results for stds so i'm clear of that, nut i have been wearing tight pants

You definately need to tell your doctor right away about that. It may need to be lanced. I worked for a doctor and we had to lance those things all the time. It's not as painful as you would think to have that done. He may just be able to give you medicine but make sure with the pharacist the medication won't hurt your baby...sometimes these doctors get so carried away they screw up. Hope you get it taken care of soon!

Don't worry about it. A boil is a small issue. If it is too painful to bear, just go to the doctor and get it removed.
Also, your body may be having a boil because it is too 'heaty' according to chinese traditional medication.
Since you will be giving birth soon you can drink more juices like fresh coconut juices to cool down your body. It will prevent more boils from forming.. and it will also help you to deliver a clean, beautiful, fair baby.
I believe in that because it is not just old wives tales from where I live.. i really have seen many people deliver beautiful babies because of this ;)

I would let the doctor know, since the boil might need treatment and your doctor might have some ideas about this. If you go into labor, of course, the presence of the boil is even more important.

You can bring it to a head with hot packs, then when the white head is visible, prick with a pin and let it drain. It is unlikely that it will come to a head all at once, so continue the hot packs. YOu can call him, but this is standard proceedures for boils. Just, don't squeeze.....

I would see the doctor tomorrow! Infections aren't good for babies in utero. Especially down there!

if you can wait it out and its not to painful your ok , if your with your man you should have him put a hot rag on it so often a day than it will bust

well just wait till tuesday but im in 9th grade and we learned about sexualy trasmitted diseases and thats kinda what it sounds like....go on google and look up std's or sexually transmitted diseases and yeah.

it's probably an infected Bartholin's cyst...simple excision can be done
