NO! It's all a big lie. The whole concept robs the gospel of its truth and makes the whole bible a lie.

Jesus came to earth to save sinners. He did this by His death, and ressurection. If He didn't die then He didn't pay the price for my sin, or yours.

Just think about it, especially if you saw "The Passion" (despite what Mell has done since it). Could any one go through this and live - considering His body was laid in a freezing cold grave where it was left for three days - no place for a recovery, even if He had just fainted.

God loves you and wants fellowship with you. Seek Him and He will be found - it's a promise.

No.I think it's funny that people can be so ignorant and gullible. A word of advice, don't ask anybody on here and don't believe things just because they come out of a 'fiction' book or a movie. I suggest you read these books: 'The Davinci Deception" by Erwin & Lutzer and "Challenging the Davinci Code" by Lee Strobel & Gary Poole. Lee Strobel also wrote "The Case for Christ" where he proved that Jesus was the Christ, was the Son of God, Died and did rise from the dead and that the bible is the absolute truth.

The davinci code is a cracking work of fiction, but there have been more texts that support this evidence. More than likely, Jesus did have a family. Most of the 'secrets' revealed in davinci code have a real basis in fact.

The novel and movie the DaVinci code were not created in my opinion to persuade people to believe this insane slew of lies. It was not a reference book, but a novel for pleasure. Read the bible or attend a mass at a local church. Trust me, I am a very religious (Catholic) person, and this book has not influenced me. I advise all others to have enough mentally stability to do the same and not analyze something so false!

The Da Vinci Code is a fictional novel, yet an exciting one however. It manages to stir up some interesting questions and exciting innovations on the project. It takes some liberties with the translation of history and artwork, however the radical mentions in direction of the initiating that the agencies and practices do exist and that express historic activities (The Council of Nicaea, to illustrate) did ensue. we can not return in time and be responsive to for beneficial if Jesus became married, if his spouse became Mary, or if he had little ones. the two way, it would take some digging to discover sure solutions (if actuality is achievable with this subject matter). one in all my acquaintances, who have been given rather into the tale counseled the Gnostic Bible (which works extra in-intensity in discussing Mary Magdalen) and her dating with Jesus.

Check your grammar. Why is everyone so allergic to English on here? No the Da Vinci code is not factual it is based on a fictional premise. It is fiction. Even the author says so. It's just meant to create controversy so that more people will buy the book or see the movie.

A fantasy book based in lies, half-truths, and garbage much like
the script in a pro wrestling match. It's no more true than a
fifth-rate comic book. Hollywood makes up a lot of stories
and also, some whacked idiots push some crackpot agendas
just to make a quicky dollar in the local moviehouse or the
nearby book store.
To answer your question, no & no.

Absolutely not. Dan Brown used info from another book (the authors of which tried to sue him because of it) but the info used is full of intuitive leaps. The claims in the original book don't have a leg to stand on.

I did enjoy the book though, and it was better than the movie.

If you are serious, you MUST believe that this book is a novel, meaning it is not true. Fiction means not true and the author has made that clear!

The Bible is true, if you want something that is good to read and will help you grow after you are finished.

No.! The book makes very interesting reading and I loved it!.
When will people learn ?
There is no such thing as GOD!
If there was then He/She made a HUGE mistake where it came to us!!!!!.
If you think that the great Biblical Flood was His/Her way of getting rid of all evil in the world then He/She made a major mistake in letting us continue with the rest of human history in the first place.

Anyway,I apologise for sounding like a fanatic, but I wouldn't be surprised if he(I had to say he because "HE" was supposed to be the "SON" of GOD !.

GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES !!!!!!!!!. (Think about it !.)
