In the first place, none of those names you mentioned ever told anyone to make a religion out of them because they sincerely knew that they are servants of God. Not even God told them to organize any religion except just folow his commandnments. Buddha told his followers to follow the steps to enlightenment, these are the followers who created these religions. To many of them, they find that organizing a religious group is one of easiest way to make money specially at this time when all their earnings are tax exempted. Look at the many great religions around the world with assets to staggering hundreds of million of dollars and had they paid the government taxes, maybe porverty will be not this big as a problem.

I would most definitely enjoy talking to each, ya know, get their words first hand. Without that, no of know what it is that they actually said.

The world would probably be better without the religious institutions. It definately would be better without religion in politics. Perfect? Highly unlikely.

what else can so close to importance to religion. We are all caught up on it, only becuase of our deceased parents, becuase they were raised by tradition also, .... and the tradition carries with us.. to follow the religion of our most important person, whom brought us to this world...... especially when you have a child.

Not really,

Human sinfulness will create problems for human beings as long as sin is not taken care of.

There is only one effective way to minimize sin -- that is for people to truly commit their lives to Christ and to follow his teachings.

Cordially,
John
