As they say, don't sweat it. If they are your best friend, they really shouldn't mind a little sweat. If anything, your friend will understand the fact that you are nervous and appreciate that your relationship is important enough to be nervous about.
To answer your question, there's really no way to stop sweating besides cooling the room down. Still, I wouldn't a little moisture stop me from having a good time.

Yes, you can do something about the sweating. The American Institute for Hyperhidrosis, they help people who sweat to much. Their is face sweating, arms sweating, so on this institute will help you. Well remember that ur human and part of being human is sweating...think about it, i mean yeah it's kinda embarrasing, but obviously he like u for u and i'm sure a little sweat won't lead him to think less of you....in fact it may just turn him on! :)
Plus if your worried about smelling or something, carry around one of those like 99 cent fragrance bottles that u can get @ like Walmart or Kmart...they fit nicely in ur purse...

Everyone sweats. It's nothing to be embarrassed about.
I'm not sure what you can do to prevent sweating. Drink cold water maybe?

um.. to tell u the complete truth thats happend to me and yeah its pretty embarrasing but now whenever u think it might be coming soon just wipe ur face with ur hands and be like oh.. man its so hot out here it works seriously and then like fan ur face with ur hands in an attractive way not like a fish out of water just be cool about it :)
