Because it's never enough for them and they just have to use to LIE motive in everything - the propaganda that they give Lebanon citizens, telling them no one from Hezbollah was killed and so on.

Somebody wake up, Muslims like who we see now are not Only dangerous for Israel, which pays the price this time - but for all of America & Europe, because behind Hezbollah stands... that's right, Iran, Syria and El Qaida.

Why do people cheat on their homework? Same reason IMHO - they do it because they think they can get away with it. Newsrooms are usually busy and tense - the newspeople and editors don't know much about the issue and need to get photos fast, and when they use these local journalists (who are "recruited" to the cause) this is what happens.

Unlike the first answer here from Aficionado, I think it is naiive to expect the same standards from CNN, or Israeli media, and from Hizbolla. As this CNN report shows (http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/anderson.cooper.360/blog/2006/07/our-very-strange-day-with-hezbollah.html and also on a whos of 360), Hizbollah systematically controls whatever information is reported, and manipulates this information. You cannot do it in a democratic society like Israel: you'll always have the odd blogger (in Israel it is also the "normal" media, you don't even need bloggers) that would report on the less-shiney (and less appealing) side of the official version.

That's, in a nutshell, the difference between media in democratic countries, where it serves as a watchdog; and in non-democratic societies, where it is viewed as a propaganda tool.

So, death and war are horrible, but I think that what Hizbollah is doing is desecration of the dead.

Hey, You are not in the world ... Most of Destruction photos in Lebanon are real. You have to watch live news on TV channels rather than Foz news and CNN.

Do you know that CNN faked a movie about Paletinians protesters during the 9/11 and showed that Palestinians were celebrating the demolation of WTC in a fake movie and a scandal for CNN ???

Lets start with the statement that war is horrible.

I saw this link before and I wanted to post it too. Thank you for doing it for me and so many other people.

In wars both sides are loosing, so many are dead. After sometime we will distance ourselves from it, but the families will suffer forever.

Loosing in war is not only on the battlefield - which Israel is clearly wining. It is also on the world public opinion. Ever since the 6 days war (1967) Israel, although winning the battlefield, lost by a long shot on the public opinion Battle.

The Muslim Arabs are so good at rhetoric and propaganda, its scary. The Israelis are so arrogant, they think that they don't need to explain anything to the world. They believe they are justified to do whatever they are doing (and I believe so too). But they don't need to explain themselves (and here I don't agree).

We saw so many links on Yahoo answers that depicted horrors via pictures which were altered. I'm happy that finally someone showing that not everything you see is automatically accurate.

I think it is common for all media corps/reporters to embellish photos and stories to get there station or papers better ratings. Weather it is CNN or Al Jezeera they're all guilty of it. Including Israeli media. Regardless of the stuffed animals being placed there afterwords or the guys laying in the rubble to look like wounded. The fact is those buildings were bombed and people were killed. So rather than down playing the seriousness of the collateral damage being done in both countries why not start picking apart and criticizing the reasons why this and other wars are going on in this world. I am neither Iraeli or Lebanese, I'm not Jewish or Muslum, if anything I'm agnostic. I couldn't care less who thinks they're right. All I know is that all over the word children are being murdered because people want power and money. The americans being first on that list with Israel and terrorist groups right behind. It's not wrong to defend your nation and it's freedom from terrorism and anyone who would harm it's people. But to say one nation is better based on quality of life or religion is nothing more than racist and terrorism in it's own way.
