No, I would never have a one night stand. For guys I don't think one night stands are bad at all. Most men separate love & sex emotions really well.
For women I think it's a little like playing with fire. You may not get burned but if you do. You won't be able to lessen the hurt by telling yourself that you intentionally put your hand in the flame. The probability of a woman regretting it in the morning is so much higher than probability that the man will even remember the experience as significant. As a woman I say what's the point? Talk about the short end of the stick! (Okay maybe that's a bad analogy, but you know what I mean)
I don't understand it and I will never try it. So I'm not going to knock it. To each his own.
But I will say, Ladies, be careful. Don't rack up so much mileage on the road, that you find yourself alone.

It all depends on whether or not you both are ready and comfortable with a one night stand. You both have to be clear and direct about your expectations so that neither one of you gets hurt. As long as there is a common understanding, and as long as you are both consenting adults, I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I had my first one night stand a little while ago, and it was phenomenal. I don't think having a one night stand means that you're neccisarily a "prostitute" as someone mentioned (you're not paying for it, I'd hope). You just need to be mature enough to seperate your feelings and emotions from a physical activity - I say go for it as long as you're ready for it :) Have fun, and use protection.

I have had several. It's a GREAT thing. It has certain advantages and disadvantages. It helps comfort after a relationship fails. It's fun, fast, easy, no commitment... but I don't think it's a healthy lifestyle in the long-term. Use it to get back on your confident feet after a failed relationship, and that should be just about it. And if you're single at the moment and want to practice sex so your better for the next relationship, well, that's a good reason too.

It's a bad thing if you get pregnant out-of-wedlock. Use protection even if you are thinking of having a one-night stand. It's best to choose wisely the men you are having sex with or there can be big trouble.

I believe that yoyu can hav up to 4 1 nite stands a year, but after 5 I would consider you a hoe.

I would for the sense of adventure and cheap thrills. But it's certainly nothing to base a serious relationship with, and you're probably risking STDs, among other things. Don't make it a regular habit, unless you've the self-esteem of a community bicycle (i.e. everyone gets a ride) and ALWAYS wear protection.

Actually i had a one night stand so that i could see how it feels to **** someone with no strings attach it was cool and adventurous listen im not saying there all right to do it but it all matters on how u do it and why.

I play guitar in about six diffrent bands, and I never have them even if the oppurtunity is there. I use to, but not anymore. They are a confusing thing for everyone. You cannot have sex without some kind of attachment.

I dont think its bad. As long as you strap it up, and protect yourself, and as long as your not doing it to alot of different people, and all that time. Maybe trusting one or two people (booty calls). I mean its not that bad, but now a days you have to be very careful.
