Yes and no.
I believe that time heals everything (some times a looong time), but sometimes people hurt you so bad that you will never fully trust them or have the same sort of relationship again.
If you can forgive and get past what happened without bringing it back up against that person, then I'd say you have a good chance of falling back in love, but it will take time.

except next time: don't "fall" in love, chose to love.....
falling = possible hurt again, just like in a physical fall....
Love is not only an emotion/feeling..it's a choice to give of oneself no matter what, to care for another without expectation...

Yes It's really hard to trust again after being hurt but you can love again.

oh yeah just give it time and let your heart heal from being hurt if u do the rebound effect chances are that things are not going to work out. Rebounds never work and it just makes it harder for you too move on with your life.

i am living proof of that, i had one of the worst marriages and one of the worst divorces, my x-hubby abused me mentally and physically, well, he did go to prison for it but i thought i would never love again, well 11 yeaRS later i am in the most loving relationship, i couldnt have aksed for any better......i just hope and pray it wont take 11 years for you.....just give it time, and when the time and person is right you will know it!!!

I have found that it has been almost nine years since I was in love last, and I haven't yet. But I"m sure most can. I"m just a resentful prick, lol.

no longer all boys promise, and dont fufill it. women bypass away adult males too you recognize. and adult males have emotions too. yet nonetheless dont be afraid to believe back , or fall in love back. you would be fortunate to get for the time of a dependable and loving individual, like me..:)
